This doesn't mean anything to me, But i know some people who have spent £5000 on a bicycle, Just crazyness to me but i've added some heat as i'm sure its a good deal and shouldn't be minus.

Totally agree............25% off is a good deal by any measure.

I'm looking for a new road bike and would love one of these...........way out of my price range though.

Don't worry about the Chavs, the only time they look at a bike is when they want to nick one after they have lost their taxi fare home after drinking themselves stupid.

expensive piece of kit but just look at the specs, lot of spec for the bucks tbh.

Sweet Jahosafat ! I thought being a computer geek was expensive :)

You must be poor then. I'm going to buy one for each day of the week, and I can't forget to buy a few for my wife too.

3K for a bike, my car didn't cost that much!
#12
LOL, and your 3K does not even get you any pedals!! (look at the pic)

Voted hot 1K in your pocket is better than the stores! :)

This is a great deal!

Like it was said before, just because its not cheap doesnt mean its a not good deal Wish my bike was £1k cheaper!

Biking is an expensive hobby!

My mountain bike cost nearly £2000 when new 2 years ago and ive spent tonnes upgrading it (That did'nt come with pedals either !).This is a great price for a bike of this quality. If road riding's you're thing.Voted hot.
#16
Well I have been a keen cyclist for many years. (proper bike with drop handlebars & made by Hetchins) but I STILL cannot see why anyone would want to spend that amount of money on a bike unless they are into time trials or some other kind of competetive cycling.
#17
You can buy a really good used car for £3000.

Audi, BMW, Mercedes,

My bike cost me £60. :-D

The other £2,940 I spent on women, and wine, and I still have cash to spare. :whistling:

They obviously cant shift these as they've got them on Ebay as well. Item no 110129001585.
Sorry voted cold
Manufacturers suggest retail price $5699 as per their website.

I think this is now the 'right' price so you're only saving if you were willing to pay the hugely inflated price beforehand
#19
Top deal, heat added. Im more mountain than road bike but the specs on this are class - serious fanatics only though!
#20
I'm amazed to see a bike on this site, which is not on sale at ASDA rofl

Mountain biker here as well, and £3000 for a bike aint that big a deal really
#21
Nice deal wish I had the money - voted hot and rep
#22
You might think £3000 is expensive, but when you consider this spec. bike is what a pro would ride in the Tour De France (maybe not the top riders!) then it's not so expensive.

The reason it'll have no pedals is because somebody spending this amount of money on a bike will have certain prefrences about what pedals they want, what type of clip, style etc, to be honest some may even have their own pedals which they'd move if they are upgrading. Unlike some on here I can't stand the £50 bikes that get thrown together at supermarkets and halfords, not only are they dangerous (from pure lack of build quality) but when they do hit you they weigh so much you are likely to end up with a large dent in yourself! As pointed out were not all just interesting in cheap beer and giant ****** hd tv's.:p

Voted hot beacuse it's a decent deal if you want to own a nice felt, as pointed out not top end pro but certainly a very decent ride!
