Ferrari Thrill

With this driving thrill you will get the chance to appreciate the evocative Ferrari – one of the most famous names in super cars! Their racing success has been the inspiration for a succession of glorious road cars. These cars naturally have racing in their blood; the Ferrari offers awesome handling and performance - you won't be racing, but all that race-inspired performance will be in your hands! As you slip into the hot seat, listen to the engine sing as you prepare for the drive of your life. Once out on track you will put the Ferrari through its paces for 4 exhilarating laps.

What happens on the day?
Your Ferrari Thrill will include the following:

Welcome, introduction and Safety Briefing on circuit driving techniques
3 laps (5.4 miles) demonstration with a qualified ARDS instructor driving a performance training car
4 laps (7.2 miles) driving the Ferrari
Debrief and certificate presentation.

Where does the experience take place?

Prestwold Hall, Leicestershire

What should I wear?
You should wear comfortable casual clothing, suitable for the time of the year and weather conditions, with sensible thin-soled shoes.

How long should I allow for this experience?
Please allow approximately 45 minutes for the whole experience.

When does the activity take place?
You voucher is valid for selected weekday dates throughout the year. Weekend dates may be booked directly with the supplier and are subject to availability and a £25 fee.
We recommend you book at least four to six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment as vouchers may not be extended. You must book and take your experience before the expiry date. All bookings are subject to availability.

Are there any restrictions?
Minimum age: 17 (under 18’s need parental/guardian consent)
Minimum height: 5’2”
Maximum height: 6’4”
Maximum weight: 17 Stone
Participants must have held a full UK licence which must be presented on the day. Photocopies will not be accepted.

Fitness/Health: You should be in reasonable health and able to climb in and out of the car. This experience is not suitable for those with epilepsy, heart complaints or pregnant ladies.

Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue. It is essential that you book and take your experience before this date as vouchers may not be extended beyond the expiration date.
This voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

What about the weather?
Motor sports are weather dependent so check with the centre before you leave home if you are in any doubt as to whether you will be able to take part. If your date is cancelled due to unsuitable weather, you will be rebooked into an alternative date.

Can I bring spectators?
You are welcome to bring friends and family to watch.

What about insurance?
Personal Accident Insurance to the value of £50,000 together with cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher. The centres contracted with us hold public indemnity liability insurance.

For your own safety and enjoyment when driving exotic and high performance cars you should pay close attention to briefings and instruction and always drive responsibly. Because repair costs are very high some suppliers stipulate that you may be liable to pay an excess if you cause damage to a vehicle through recklessness or wilful negligence. To avoid this excess you may be offered the chance to purchase a Collision Damage Waiver on the day for an extra fee, usually up to £20.00. You may wish to buy this Waiver for your own peace of mind but this is entirely your choice and you are under no obligation to do so. You will not be liable for the cost of any accidental damage to vehicles or equipment, except where it has been caused as a result of your recklessness or wilful negligence.

Ive been to Prestwold Hall, Leicestershire and its great (and im not really into cars), my family went up again the other weekend and got up to 93 with the Ferrari its a great day.

You can pay extra to:

1. get a recording on a USB stick which shows from drivers point of view and a small top corner in car cam of you driving it.
2. their photographer takes photos as you come round the bends (so remember to smile) which you can purchase.

Ive not used gifted website (so cant coment on what they are like) but have done it through tesco clubcard deals.

7.2 miles at 100 mph takes about 4 minutes 20 secs.
at £56.45 for the pleasure this works out to £784 per hour.
so not good value in my book.

Do you guys know if they keep your details on file or share them with other companies?
Few years ago I destroyed a porsche 911 and I was told not to bother trying to book again as they barred me.
Likely I am easely persuaded and I purchased their insurance excess waiver.
What do you reckon?

The Ferrari can definitely get up to 130 on the main straight.

Great price!!!

Don't know how good this place is but compared to 6th gear race days this is a complete rip off!!
For £56 you could drive a lamborghini and a ferrari!
First you get a touring lap in a subaru impreza.
Then you get someone to take you round the track 3 times in your chosen car/s.
Then you get to drive your chosen car/s around the track 4 times.
And finnaly you get the option to drive an ariel atom around the track for a tiny fee!!
The extras are quite cheap aswell.

Ive bought my husb. a gift cert for Prestwold Hall having seen a discount on here before, he is car mad and he loved it. Having seen you comment about what you get for £56 with 6th gear I went on there site and there is nothing cheaper than £75??
#16
which ferrari is it ? If a 360/430 then worth it, if a 348/355 then the R8 would be more appealing
#17
I went to ROKCKINGHAM yesterday to drive the ferrari 360.. awesome but diddnt get long enough imo.
