Isnt it the same version anyway. I bought the 'deluxe' PS3 version and the only difference is that they removed the false DLC description from the blurb on the case.

Thank you. I've been waiting for this to be in stock somewhere at a good price.

Cheers.

What was false about the dlc claim, you can download cars and tracks on the psn for the game and have been able to for a while now.

Maybe the fact that you can only download ONE track and FIVE cars (and that was nearly a year after its original release). The blurb on the back listed tracks that werent included in the game and were intended as DLC within a few weeks of launch, such as Monaco. As promised here : http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/more-ferrari-challenge-tracks-confirmed

Put simply they had all the extra cars and tracks ready to go as DLC but because of licencing issues they were unable to issue them as DLC. Apparently it would have been ok had they had them on the retail disc and not as seperate DLC.

They had a bustup with Ferrari too (who slated the game) and they abandoned the DLC completely and said the PROMISED DLC would instead be included in their new game 'Supercars challenge' (which i think is out this week BTW.

Surfice to say as far as the PS3 version is concerned anyway, they is no difference between the original and the deluxe version except the packaging. I bought the deluxe version from the hut a few weeks ago to test out my new G25. I took the orginal version back for a refund after a few weeks last year cause i didnt rate it at all.

Its not too bad for a Wii. Certainly not got much competition as far as semi-serious sims goes.
