Why will that be?

Its rated as good as Gran Turismo in terms of racing simulation. Has some great DLC content coming up, part of which includes trophies. Lately games that have been patched to include trophies their prices have risen slightly or stayed the same.

Look at Buzz, when it was released it could be got for £30 now your looking at around £35 now trophies are enabled. Burnout could be got for around £15-18 (new, not the game preowned deal) but now your looking at over £20.

The game itself is a good representation of the most of the ferrari fleet (not all). The DLC in future will have tracks and cars but for a cost.

Good buy for racing fans, will get lots of replay time. Lots of good reviews knocking around about it.

Could'nt agree more. People just dismiss games liek these without trying them that at all, looks like a great game cant wait to play and the game seems like for real racing fans like myself,

I Can guarantee you this wont drop below £29.99 within the next 3 weeks or more.

Calm down fanboys I think you have both misunderstood me, I am not "Dissing" the game, in fact as I understand it, its pretty good, however as with most games nowadays new releases have at best two weeks to make an impact on the charts, after that there tends to be a calculated scramble by publishers, wholesalers and retailers alike to get rid of access stock!

So unless you MUST have it on day of release you stand a good chance of picking it up cheap three or four weeks down the line, Certain publisher are more guilty than others when it comes to heavy discounting and a small publisher like System 3 is likely to be one of them.

Lets be honest it is not going to set the charts on fire and in this industry units count!

Rest assure I will have this in my ever expanding collection for less than £20 by the end of September, so keep them peeled!

I'm far from a fanboy of ferrari, I just dont like to thread spoil by saying 'it will be cheaper in x amount of weeks' surely thats obvious that at some point everything gets cheaper than it previously was.

However this will not be discounted in the next 'few' weeks, games like this often stay around the £30-£40 mark a while.

Number of reasons:
1. The publisher isnt small at all, has sonys marketing support hence why this game is a PS3 exclusive. Sony wont want it hitting bargain basement so soon.

2. Any other 'major' racing games being released before xmas? - nope.

3. Trophy support, keeps game price buoyant.

4. Its a very very good game.

5. Its selling at a decent rate, anyone who plays online will testify that online is busy.

Your post wasnt helpful to anyone, just putting people off a decent deal for a newly released game.

Fanboy? Grow up why internet bash a deal? Your not going to acheive anything, I posted this up as 365games had it cheaper when the store prices for it are still ataining the £39.99 mark just like Metal Gear Solid 4, Call of Duty 4, and other such titles that have been out for a very long time. This game isnt just going to be pushed into the corner, Sony are backing this alot, System 3 isnt small at all just because you dont see the tacky trailers that such as EA advertising it everwhere you look doesnt mean it's not reconised by the public, Sony are backing this and it's the whole reason why Xbox 360 was not let into the aquation they want to remain profile, The game has receieved alot of postive feedback which is one of a few games which will get a patch for Trophy Support, I for one think it's a brilliant game and a brilliant price. You arnt helping anyone with your thread spoiling comments
