Ordered the flowers from ValueFlora and they were delivered as promised, w/c 18/12/06, but unfortunately the flowers are either dying or already dead. Have e-mailed to complain but as yet not heard anything.

This maybe a one off but suggest caution before ordering.

A few people have had dodgy bunches in the past RossoCol, but a reply from customer services usually sorts out issues, with refunds and the like.

Good Luck

Welcome to the forums :)

I had a similar complaint a few month back.Emailed them as no phone number.Got a reply in about 24 hrs.Simply sent out replacement flowers, didn't offer me any refund.Replacement flowers were fine.Used them about 6 or 7 times and apart from that one time all the flowers have been very good and good value.:santa:

Got a reply back from Value Flora

"Hello,

Thank you for supplying the images.

Alstroemeria can appear to be limp or even ‘dead’ – when in fact it is far from it! Alstroemeria is naturally soft stemmed and as a result the leaves do droop, however if they flowers are given a good drink then by Christmas Day the buds will open to display the blooms.

Please let me know after Christmas how the flowers opened.

With best wishes for the festive season".

I know if a flower is 'limp' or dead...

I didn't send any images, so perhaps they are confusing me with someone else who has complained...maybe they've had a few....

I just mailed them back and asked for replacement or a refund because they do not in any way resemble the image on their website even if it is only for 'guidance'......

I was led to believe they would be colourful, mine are all white....aaarghhhh.

Following my complaint received a mail from ValueFlora apologising for the flowers that had been delivered. They stated that they couldn't do anything until I had submitted photographic evidence and then they will have to contact their supplier. Submitted photographic evidence and they informed me the following day that they will re-send another set of flowers asap - don't know when that will be with the Christmas and New Year break. Amy at Customer Services has been good - replying straightaway and hers mails have been helpful.

Fingers crossed that the new delivery is okay!
