Went into my local shop today, and loads of different christmas stock was knocked down in price
I assume it's Nationwide but my apologies if it isn't
Following list is what I can remember from off the top of my head

Royal Edinburgh Shortbread tin (nearly £10 before the offer) to less than £4, and now £1.75
Iced Christmas cake, £5 down to £1
Mince pies 6 pack, now 33p
Frozen party food, were £1.99 each, on a 3 for 2 deal, then went to an unadvertised BOGOF
and now, 99p each, will probably be 3 for 2 as well

Hope this helps someone looking for post-festive bargains :)

that's strange I went into my local coop supermarket on NYE & the staff were taking their leftover christmas stock (undiscounted) out the back (presumably to get binned?) & putting out their easter eggs!!
No offers like that in my local store :(
My co-op does this daily on fresh items with silly prices from 10p upwards. They also have been selling off the Christmas stock from middle of last week.

Did get 2 of the christmas tubes of M&M's for 35p each at the Co-op in Willingham, Cambs last night. Also noticed they had slabs of christmas cake reduced to 57p - BBE January 2012.
All The Co-operative food stores (as opposed to independent Co-ops) have guidelines for reducing and clearing Xmas stock, including items we normally stock but have festive packaging. We also have waste targets, so to just take food off sale without reducing would really blow the budget at a time when waste is high anyway. Easter eggs (not hollow ones, the likes of creme eggs) arrived before Xmas for display from the 4th (I think) but we put ours out as soon as they came in, cos they sell!
got full sized xmas cake for £2 down from £8 and 2 whole cooked chickens reduced from £5ish down to 4p!! think should have been down to £4. bargain!!!
this was the store in sandwich, kent.
