They announced they were going to do a free trial at a Q & A event which was featured on the US Playstation blog, I can only assume the US will be getting the trial.

It was a while ago when I upgraded from PS3 to PS4 , details are hazy, I've provided a link. I think you have to buy the PS3 version which is really cheap, and log in at least once for it to work.

How this compare to PC MMO's?
Is it any good. Love Final Fantasy and an MMO sounds cool to play chilled on sofa.

Admittedly I am not a big MMO fan, but from what I hear, It's a very traditional MMO with a final fantasy skin. Doesn't do anything novel or revolutionary but as far as the genre goes, it is a solid game in my opinion. Guilds, PVP, Dungeons, Raids , Frontlines which is a big PVP activity with 64 players (I think). You can be any class with a single character, all you have to do is change the primary weapon, I suppose that's a feature not common in other games? Graphics are beautiful, colours are vibrant. The major cities all have their distinct look. The PS4 version has been tailored for the console, the hotbar is activated by using the triggers and the directional buttons and other buttons on the pad. Definitely a game which you can just sit back on the sofa and play. There is enough customisation available for you to make sure a controller doesn't hamper your experience, with filters to toggle enemies, party members and NPC's. There's no voice chat, you can easily hook up a keyboard and use that to communicate though.

Thanks for your reply bud. Looks even better that you can also play on Vita using remote play. Also apparently if I buy it for PS3 for a few quid, you can get PS4 upgrade for free as a download, so even better. Though I have seen they doing a 2 week trial on PS4, so might give it a try, thanks bud.
