Still says over £37 on their website so HOT deal if its true.
http://www.asda-entertainment.co.uk/games/platforms/ps3/fifa-10/10042533.html

Although yet to receive official confirmation, MCV points to reports which suggest Tesco will be selling the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of FIFA 10 for £28.99. This will be a weekend offer that will last until stores close on Sunday.

The price cutting isn't expected to stop there, with supermarket rival Asda rumoured to be offering the same versions of the game for only £25 for a 24 hour period following launch

Lets just hope it IS true :)

tesco are telling callers today that the price is 28.00 and its on the asda system at 26.71 at the moment-obviously these can change and the 25 quid deal may well be true but this isnt confirmed by asda yet officially.

£25 for a new release game meaning to be atleast 40? HOT.
#17
I just rang ASDA (24 hour open one) and asked about the price and they told me that it will be on the shelves at 12am, but the counter to buy the game will not open untill 9am.

Was also told they do not know the list price yet.
#18
I'm not a fanboy, nor am I poor. I'll buy both FIFA and PES and sell the worst offering.
#19
hot...if true.

obviously your dreaming mate

PES died after PES6 - I was a massive fan

but I defected Muhahahah
Fifa9 was very refined
the Fifa10 demo was better still
the PES2010 demo felt clunky like it rather be lego soccer - actually that would be better

I have this on pre-order but this is a great price.
#25
what would be the point of putting them out at midnight if you have to walk around with the box for 9 hours before you can leave? If it's on the shelf you will be able to buy there and then

I think he means at 24hr stores, the 24 hr stores the entertainment desks are not 24hrs in my exerience.

last year i went to asda to buy fifa at around 11pm (not on release day, about a week later), the entertainment desk was close and what I endured was someone having to find the manager, who then had to use his key to open the drawer and get the game, take it to customer services who I bought it from. It was a bit long-winded and they seemed under-staffed.

Hope we can get confirmation of a 12am release on Thursday night at 24hr stores.

Last year I bought COD 5, PES 2009, FIFA 09 & GTA IV all from Asda at midnight in Swansea without any problems. Was always considerably cheaper aswell so I think this will be confirmed soon enough...

There Just canceled mine with shopto.

I hope this is true. I've played both the fifa and PES 2010 demos and Fifa is infinately better than pro evo this year. Only the ultimate PES fanboys can possibly say that PES is better this year.

I've been a huge PES fan going back to the PS2 days. Since the next gen consoles PES has been going downhill and last year was the 1st time I've bought FIFA and not PES and I can't see this year being any different. :x
#35
I would rather pay £28 then £34, £25 even better.
Asda and Tesco price war will start with this title. ( the summers just been too quiet )
#36
fifa 2010 for pc is so bad the graphics look like fifa 98 or something.
#37
I must say the Pes Demo just felt so slow .
#38
They always said that the PC version will always look different to the console version because of so many different specs of PCs out there. EA want Mass market so they have to think of the low end users,
#39
whys this expired?

another football game!
