I can honestly say this is the worst fifa yet, even worse than last years. Looks like i'll be playing FIFA 09 for yet another year.

Fifa 10 was streaks ahead, and Fifa 11 has more improvements and has fixed the 'dumb goalie' issue. There's no way that Fifa 09 is anywhere near as good as either of the updates.

However if your argument was 'Why should I pay £30 per year for essentially, updates to the same game' I'd be with you every step of the way!
#17
well it was posted yesterday cause i remember it had something about a price promise in the title of the post but now i cant find it so let you off

Just a heads up for others who havent ordered yet.... From tomorrow (1st Oct) Asda will open up their own game swap shop.

Actually my argument was, why should i pay for a game that is essentially worse than previous years?

It might not have been so bad if the ref system wasnt completely broken. For the last 3 years now EA have been improving the game, but at the same time breaking almost every other aspect of it.

Not that any of this will matter once FM 2011 is out.

ordered.

I know Tesco will probably drop the price overnight, but fed up of waiting to see the lowest price.
Let's hope it get's here before Saturday night when the lads come round.
#21
dont forget quidco,,£2-40.
#22
Oh I also forgot to add that, once again, the EA servers are completely trashed when a new game is released. Serious. Fkin. Lagfest.
#23
I still think sub 30 from tesco will wait

Yeah they are, but only when you buy another chart title. I rang the large Basingstoke store out of interest and they didn't have any decent chart titles in stock. By that i mean ones im interested in.

believe that when i see it why on earth would they offer £15 for fifa 10 when everyone else is offering £3 for ps3 and £4 for 360 ? you could go buy fifa 10 for £8 and get £15 off saving £7 just cant see this happening at all.

Slight contradiction there.... either they improve it or they don't. TO everyone else on earth, last years was a significant improvement and this years is also by all accounts.

Disagree on your Fifa 10 comments but I agree on your second part you are paying £30 for a new updated roster of players and a couple of features you will never use/notice same with most yearly games.

I have to say that FIFA 10 was a vast improvement on FIFA 09, which was also awesome, im hoping that FIFA 11 will come on with more improvements, and though yes its a bit ridiculous to pay the price year on year for the newer version, i have to say that i definately get my use out of it and moneys worth :)

I thought ASDA were doing a deal where the online price would match the store price and they would refund the difference. I can't see that anywhere on the product page though
