Don't forget Quidco

FIFA 11 reinvents player authenticity – on and off the ball – for every player and at every position on the pitch with Personality+, an all-new feature that sees individual abilities reflected in game, enabling clear differentiation for every player.

With Personality+ a footballer’s abilities on the pitch is mirrored authentically in game, creating individual personalities. Players will be distinguished from one another through a sophisticated database that evaluates and grades each player’s skill-set over 36 attributes and 57 traits, compiled by 1700 scouts around the world. Real Madrid’s Kaka will deliver crisp, creative passes, Barcelona’s Andres Iniesta will utilize tighter turns and close control to dribble through defenses, Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney will hold off defenders and strike shots from distance with pace, and top-flight defenders like Giorgio Chiellini of Juventus will anticipate, predict and react to offensive players to win back possession.

Why the cold votes?
#2
Probably because it was ridiculously cheap at play.com earleir this week as their DotD. But no longer.
Nearest rival is sendit at £24.89 (powered by the Hut). So hot. Ish.

Hmm, guess if you must have this right now it's the best deal, but I bought this for £17.99 from Play recently and I'm sure it will get reduced again
#4
So because pepole can travel back in time and get the play deal they vote this cold, got it.

Umm, No. Its cold because it was 18.00 a few days back, hence 24.00 is not much of a 'Hot deal'.

Got it?
#6
I don't think it's so much aimed at the 'it was cheaper before', but rather suggesting that 'it will most likely be reduced again, so avoid for now.'
#7
Have to say I do agree with OP though...just because it was cheaper last week, or "will be" cheaper next week, doesn't mean it's not the best deal now.
And surely that's the point of this site? Don't vote cold...just don't vote.

You're meant to vote based on market prices today, not what they have been.

An extreme example but when new in 1962 a Ferrari 250 GTO cost $18,000 (About $100,000 in todays money). They usually sell for $15 million or more these days. If one was for sale at $500,000 would that not be hot because you could've got one for $18,000/$100,000 in the sixties?

If that same Ferrari had been on sale at $250,000 a few days earlier and was due to be a similar price in the near future, then no.

But who says Fifa 11 is "due to be a similar price in the near future"? It was a one day special price, I've seen plenty of items on such deals and they never appear as cheap for a long time. Voting this price cold because a cheaper price could appear in the future is ridiculous. Might as well have voted the £17 cold because it'll be £1 in a years time.
