Proof? Not that I don't believe you but this always crops up and 1/2 the time is fake...
#2
I wouldn't be surprised to see it at £25 in sainsburys.. i think they're going to get really aggressive on this one :)
#3
I'd expect it to be cheaper at ASDA, again speculation like this post. I'm not voting.
#4
can remember the post just 2 weeks ago on here with "genuine inside info" from a morrisons manager that halo reach would be 25 quid, full page newspaper ads etc etc.

no offence to the op,but this happens every time a big release is due-and you wont get hot votes without proof-may well be true-fifa games are usually cheap in supermarkets, but this needs proving.
#5
ive got mine on preorder at asda, im hoping when i pick it up its under £30!
#6
proof call up any morrisons that have an audio bar and ask them 100% real, watch newspapers this coming week and you will see for yourself.
In fact it may go cheeper depending on what other supermarkets do. Can i just remind you last year we also had the game at £25.00 on launch day.
If you dont belive me fine post will be reposted later this week when people do find it this is a real deal

will call tomorrow-they have declared their hand rather early though if this is the case-good of them to let tesco/asda/sainsburys know 8 days in advance tho so they can be undercut.

I believe u X)

Not sure if proof is required, 2 days after FIFA 10 came out last year, both morrisons and tesco had it for £25.

you cant repost it,cos you have already posted it m8-thems the rules so another posting will be spammed as a duplicate of this one. its not that people dont believe you-its that people are naturally suspicious because this has happened so many times before -surely you understand that?

Hope this is true,
Come on guys there have been enough deals in the past with games going for the £26-£27 mark on release day. Look at COD, loads of people didn't believe the op and look what happened.

I am not saying to vote the deal hot or cold, but to vote when it has been made public

From memory, MW2 was £26 in ONE supermarket. Sadly not widespread enough.

mw2 was £20 at makro

It will be released the same price as above. The most aggressive retail price will probably be above, so I vote hot
#15
not only will asda be competative pricing wise, but there the only supermarket that now do trade ins as far as im aware.
#16
called morrisons, this is correct :P

Both sainsburys and morrisons was doing them both at £26
The point still being, this deal could be possible. Look at another example ps3 deal in sainsbury, sme ppl said it was too good to be true, but hey, loads of people benefited from it.
#18
Right guys, I'm going to shed some light on the issue - I work in the Letchworth store and there is a catch on the offer. It's only £27.99 IF you buy another top 16 chart game and £36.99 if you buy it on it's own.
#19
This is crazy. Its not gonna be £25 or £20 or anything else let alone free or help yourself to a trolley full of FIFA 11 any format as long as you leave that quid in the trolley when your done.

THIS DEAL IS COLD. COLD AS ICE.
#20
Sunnyboy thats not what i was told by my H and les manager he said it would be 27.99 said nothing about buying top dvds
#21
I am fully expecting all the major supermarket chains to be selling this on friday 1st Oct between £25 and £27 they have the last two years with fifa and cod why change the habbit of a lifetime, i know i will be poping into asda 6am friday morning before catching the train to work

mw2 was £20 at makro

You needed Makro membership though. Silly.
#23
With all these kinds of deals on the opening weekend, reckon it would be possible to price match at PC world?
#24
I'm in the market for this on release day.

When the supermarkets do these deals do they usually have plenty of copies?

I've got a couple of large Tesco's nearby and an Asda near work, want to make sure I get a copy.

Huh? You can shoplift a trolley full of the game as long as you leave a quid in the trolley when you're done???
#26
I have seen the memo first hand, it will be £36.99. £27.99 if you buy another chart game (which are all being put back up to £40 on Monday conveniently....) Deal is North Pole-esque cold, buy elsewhere.
#27
Whilst this is a good price there are no Morrisons near me (or at all?) that are open 24 hours. So not able to go in at midnight and pick up a copy. :(

What about Fifa 10 which was £26 last year in Tesco?

Sainsbury's a national retailer. That's pretty widespread.
#29
If its true about having to buy another chart game for £40 just to get FIFA at £27.99 then its as cold as ice!

so two morrisons employees say this, yet op insists he is correct-which is exactly why these deals shouldnt be posted without proof.
#31
I should be getting a free copy but have some heat anyway because it will be sub-£30 and people are going to have a go at you for posting it.
#32
Hope its true..... not holding my breath though.

Trust me, I'm the audio bar manager and read the memo myself. I won't vote it cold because I appreciate any effort being put in. Best to look elsewhere for it
#34
ok well if thats true you should know if tescos and sainsburys drop the price to £27.99 we will be forced to put the game at the same price.

whatever happens i know theres gonna be some deal going on

Just out of intrest when did you read this memo?
#35
memo I read on Thursday - it's just a matter of waiting to see what Sainsbury's and Tesco's do now. Anyone got any info on Pro Evo?

yeah, i got both FIFA10 and COD MW2 from morrisons no hassle. Both at around 1pm. If theres no cases out just ask them, they had no cases out for FIFA10, my mate who works there put us 3 away and went and collected them, they had a draw full, just the bone idle gits didnt realise they had non on the sehlf coz the empty cases hadnt been replaced. Damaging sales or what!

I am going to expire this listing until the actual offer can be confirmed as there is some debate on what the offer actually is - later threads can still be reported as dups and if any member with proof reports the actual specifics of this offer (copy advert etc) and confirms OPs listing we will unexpire.
