Just seen a big banner at the entrance of Sainsburys Durham - FIFA 12 will be available from Friday for £28.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3 when purchased with £30 of shopping (excluding the game obviously).

Link to stores opening at midnight... (thanks to skinrush)

Strictly speaking, the total price is £58.99 as that is what you have to spend to get the game.

Loop if we were all fools and posted this as 59 pound then many people would miss the deal. Oh and you are totally wrong because the individual price is 38.99!
- bargainhunter666

Bargainhunter the price in your deal here is £58.99 (total spend). £58.99 doesn't sound quite so good though does it? ;)
You could post the £38.99 individual price as a separate deal I suppose.

Interesting - not as good as i was hoping though. Wonder if Amazon will price match this without the spend requirement..

Great deal if you're doing your weekly shop anyway :)

Same as last year so far then..

Wonder if ............
Morrisons will be Live points and get it for £25
Tesco any chart title and get this for £25
and ASDA £29.....

Not too bad a price. Last year cheapest was £24.99 I believe. Have a pre order (£3 refundable deposit) at Sainsburys which gets you the Special Edition version. If another place has it cheaper then I'l ljust get a refund on the deposit.

Anyone know if they let you purchase 2 copies at that price?

doubt it, imagine you'd have to do two separate £30 shops

Nice! I was hoping for something like this. I'll be buying Ico/Shadow of the colossus anyway, so a £30 spend should be quite easy. I've also got £2 off a £20 spend and £5 worth of Nectar points, so there's a few savings to be made.

Cheers for the heads up op.

Do you know what the price is without taking advantage of this offer, steveuk (or indeed does anybody else in this thread know)?

That is, say it is £34.99 on the shelves on Friday, you could buy two for £34.99 + £28.99 = £63.98 (£31.99 each).

BFN,

fp.

I had to do two shops in Sainsburys for black ops last year.
pidgeofcdf#11
Only 1 copy per transaction and the game price isn't included in the £30 spend.
The hut has proved to be the best deal with the boxers, glad I ordered that :)

Depends if you're planning on doing a £30 weekly shop, or buying another game. Good deal if you were.

I'm supprised Sainsburys have shown their hand this early though.

I bought three "...Modern Warfare 2" [PS3] products in two transactions at Wm Morrison in 2009 as they were restricting to two per customer.

(I waited for a few weeks for the Hardened Edition of "...Black Ops" to fall last year)

Well a lot of stores are opening at midnight for the release, so I guess they can't leave it too late.

I have an £8 off when you spend £40 at Sainsbury's so that would make it work out even cheaper for me

Good deal, although i don't shop at Sainsbury's, anyone know if any other retailers have a good price instore?

im sorry but i have to laugh as over the past few weeks people have been saying im not going to pre order fifa "im going to wait for the supermarket war to start " and then this deal comes along.
The deal is just ablout ok if your going shopping in sainsburys any way but it is no where near the beating the deals for the pre orders plus you dont even get the special edition with this deal its looks like it will be the normal edition
