Edited: Shows up on my invoice as £33.99 now!
This is my first ever deal so here goes, any tips appreciated.
Much better than FIFA 10, download the demo from XBLM, thought it was a good deal as these usually deliver one or two days before it hits the shops, like they did with my MW2!

# Win the 2010 FIFA World Cup - Compete as one of 199 teams from qualification right through to a virtual reproduction of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final. Play in any of the 10 official stadiums that come to life with the pageantry and festivity of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
# 2010 FIFA World Cup Online - The first-ever full and authentic 2010 FIFA World Cup online tournament. Compete as your favourite country against rivals in the group stage through the knockout rounds to be crowned 2010 FIFA World Cup champion. Navigate the Globe to locate top countries and opponents among all 199 participating nations.
# Spectacular Presentation: 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa comes to life in spectacular fashion with all the emotion and pageantry of the official tournament, including all 10 official licensed stadiums. # Battle of the Nations - Represent your country in the 2010 FIFA World Cup online tournament against your rivals to win global supremacy. Earn individual and team points and prove your nation is the best. Every performance is rated, recorded and uploaded and your ratings all count towards player and nation leaderboards.

# Altitude Effects - Less air resistance at altitude means the ball travels faster and further. Plus, player will noticeably fatigue faster and their stamina challenged while playing in cities at higher elevations versus sea level.
# Authentic Stadiums - Compete in all 10 official stadiums of 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.

If you play this 'add on' as a demo, you will see it is very much polished and has 199 licensed international teams.

This will be just for hardcore footie fans I can see :)

Should have been DLC this one, 35 notes is a bit steep, I am sure as someone else said it will be £20 at the supermarkets on release date.

Also, I would never ever deal with coolshop again after the MW2 fiasco last year.

expensive, really best to wait for the day when the supermarket will probably do for £19.99

Ive never seen a AAA title being priced at £19.99 on day of release.

Which supermarket do you go to?

Best one I saw was MW2 at £28 Sainsburys. thats ok if you could find one in stock......

It's cold for the reasons stated previously (about it being a re-vamp of FIFA 10). Just because it's the cheapest current price, doesn't automatically make it a hot deal. If it was under £25 it might fare a little better.

It's a game that will be in the bargain bins by the end of July... not worth paying £33.99 for now, imo.

In my experience, if you gripe about it getting cold, it gets colder! How do I know? Cos I did it too....on a deal that was a lot better than this one it has to said...

....not that I'm still bitter!:w00t:

mw2 was £24.99 at sainsbury instore, with a retail price of £39.99 or maybe more i cant remember.

Got COD on release day for £20. Makro must have got stung that day :w00t:

At least they've finally changed the annoying substitution cutscenes... worth buying for that reason alone!

So where exactly was selling this for £25 guys?

It is now sold out EVERYWHERE, and people are moaning about not being able to get it anywhere. Oh and cheapest is ASDA at £37.01 or something

THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN HOT HAHA
