Cheapest pre-order price I have seen is £37.95 at Zavvi. I have played the demo and it is absolutely fantastic. They have improved the graphics and most of all the keepers and the AI.

Hi
Thanks for posting. And welcome to HUKD.
It is good practice to also add the merchant and price to the title along with the format ie PS3 and add an image. It helps people who are just browsing through. And in my experience your post will get a few more “hot” votes.
Emmajk42 / Juliet_Bravo wrote a couple of very comprehensive and excellent guides for newcomers to HUKD here: - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/145906/newcomers-advice-on-hotukdeals-gene/

This is a link, made by rayman, which explains how to add images in great detail. It’s worth taking a look at if you are going to post more deals in future : - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/339941/how-to-post-and-host-images-for-thr/
They are well worth taking a look at.
Again, thanks for posting, and welcome to HUKD.
Kind regards Andy

Probably cos the World Cup will be well over by then and the game will have limited appeal

this should be like liberty city stories and be around 20-25 pound

its basically an add on to fifa 10

i want it but will not pay over 25

Not voting, but I do agree. The rrp should be £24.99 with retailers cutting it to £19.99. Alternatively it should be available as premium DLC for Fifa 10.

Does the AI still move your players on your behalf?

How much do I want to play as Lithuania?

Disagree on the add-on aspect. A huge amount of work has gone into this, and it is worthy of being it's own title.

For example, the scenarios aspect sounds pretty exciting. In every World Cup game that happens in real life, EA will recreate a scenario for that match which we can then download for free and play and replay the key turning moments of a game. Also, the entire World Cup competition is going to be online - not sure how it will work, but it means we'll be able to play group matches in online tournaments instead of just knockout as in the last World Cup game.

Furthermore, the number of countries involved is massive, bar a handful they're all in there, whereas you can't get a huge number of them in FIFA 10.

Given the gameplay enhancements and the scale of the nations/tournaments involved, as well as the work EA will be putting in during the real World Cup tournament itself, I think they're fully justified in releasing this as a full game.

Having said that, no game on any console should be retailing for over £30 imo. Ridiculous price, 2-3 games equating to a brand new console is hardly fair. This game should definitely be £25 or less, as once the World Cup is over it's not going to played much at all, and furthermore FIFA 11 will be right around the corner.

I still think it's a lot to pay for confetti and a new '2 button control scheme' for people that should stick to Wii Sports :-D

where's the incentive to get it as soon as its released... you know its going to drop to about £30 on release week / fortnight...

The supermarkets might have a bit of a price war promo on this one - worth waiting until release I reckon - ---------COME ON ENGLAND!!

I don't think its a big enough release for that...

why preorder this anyway, wait for the supermarkets to hopefully heavily discount it

yeah asda will have this for around £20 on the release weekend as they always do...

i wouldn't pay more than a tenner for a tourniment specific game...

Exactly what I was saying at the start of the thread. This is basically a stripped down FIFA11, so if all you care about is the gameplay not the game content, wait until september and grab it in the bargain bin. Or just wait til after the group stage when England has been dumped out, sure there will be a shed load on ebay ;)

No point with the pre-orders when the likes of asda always have them for £29 when they 1st come out
