Leeloo (Milla Jovovich) isn't just the perfect beauty; she's also the perfect weapon. As planet Earth is about to be wiped out, the pair set off on a deadly mission to find a set of stones that represent the four elements and unite them with the fifth. But what is the fifth?

From Luc Besson, the acclaimed director of 'Leon ' and 'Nikita ' comes a film that reinvents the sci-fi genre. The Fifth Element takes you on an adrenaline-filled journey to a new dimension of sumptuous visuals and spectacular explosions.

WOW finally... I had to import this about 2years ago

Says on the front page that, that code is for first time shoppers only..........

Anyone contemplating the US import version [which is region free] be aware that the first issue was very poor and it was remastered in 2007.

There are a couple of clues how to tell the difference:

The new disc has a TrueHD logo on the back which the original didn't. The catalog number on the spine of the re-master is 21520, the originals catalog number was 15018 and lastly the bottom border (front cover) area that contains the "Experience High Definition" slogan is set against a silver/foil background on the re-master versus a flat gray border on the original
