if you havent heard good things about it, then you must know what its about. otherwise the people telling you its rubbish arent saying why, which seems silly.

my brother has this, he likes it but its not an easy game, which might frustrate people into saying its bad. i might grab it for this price.

oh and i wish i had a student discount code - i saved so much with one a few years back (when we could ask for one on here).

oh and facepalm - i thought i was posting on the shoot, not the fight lol. but the statement is the same.

The game has been patched and is apparently very good now. Just a shame that it can't be reviewed again now. Plenty of youtube reviews with the latest patch.

If you dont have qualifications then you can get a student card by studying nvq level 2 in engish and maths for free - Any age - Any college

You could just sign up get the card and not go or you could improve your grades!

OR

get a student to go in HMV with a nus card and get a HMV student card to use on the web site

HMV student cards stopped a couple of years ago. HMV stopped doing them when Woolworths and Zavvi closed down as they had no more direct competition

Thanks for the credit - hadn't spotted this one and now I've ordered it as well.

This site can be seriously damaging to your wallet....

Just received my dispatch email for this. 45 minutes after ordering it!

I think this is a reasonable price for a move game.
To be honest, Move and Kinnect games havent really impressed me so far.
I own both hardware and I have only played dance central repeatly, other games didn't really last me long. Hope this will give a better experience for Move. Voted hot as cheapest I have seen.

This game is proper hardcore. It's not for your average gamer who works up a sweat just thinking about exercise. You will get a proper workout and feel pain in parts of your body that you've never experienced before.
Your arms, shoulders and back get a brilliant workout, coupled with some great cardio thrown in for good measure.

The key to the game is to improve your fighter's statistics to increase the response to your inputs.
To begin with it feels clunky, but when you build your character up, it's superb.

Is there anywhere selling cheap move controllers? Second hand will be fine
#13
Just to defend the move slightly, heavy rain and dead space extraction are fantastic move titles. I'll grant the majority are party games and not much appeal to hardcore gamers though. But do I buy this one. Can anyone say is it any good with one move controller or do you really need two

ordered, thanks :D
#15
I like that price point, thanks!

Same price on Amazon now too.

I love an impulse friday buy!

I love the move - there's so much could be done with it - Sports Champions shows just how intricate it can be (cannot beat the robot at table tennis!!!) - but that seems the only game so far. Lets hope this one lives up to the post-patch-hype.

Tempted with this. Will I be able to get the patch while PSN is down? Hopefully it'll be back up in a few days anyway...

I have read reviews but was after comments from people that have played it. :)

Should be fine. Loaded some old game the other day and it downloaded the update fine.

Thanks, I always wanted this! Ordered!

No online, so thats a no for me!

This game is great. I'd become bored of EA Sports Active 2, so a couple of months ago this came onto my radar but as I couldn't find it new for less than £25 anywhere I trolled ebay until I managed to win an auction for about £12.

It's a great workout - even moreso than Sports Champions 'Gladiator' game, and quite satisfying. As a game it's pretty good too, but I wouldn't recommend playing it for more than an hour at a time as you'll have sweated half your bodyweight and will feel like you've gone 12 rounds with Henry Cooper (rip).

Ignore the professional reviews, I've not found a single thing to complain about. I don't know how the game was pre-patch but it did lead me to believe that the pro reviewers are all a bunch of babies that can't throw a punch! Look at Metacritic - pro reviews: 48%, user reviews: 77%.

Plus bonus points for the tongue in cheek hardcore coaching throughout the game from the dude from From Dusk Til Dawn (Danny Trejo) :D

Yes and yes. Although not as good with just one controller by all reports. Buying on way home!
