==================

This game has been posted before at 17.99, but HMV offer 10% NUS and 10% quidco, = £14.39 for students. A great deal for a game with an easy 1000 GS.

Note: Stock level is 'from supplier', so it mite take 2 weeks to come though.

Apologies, 10% NUS and 5% quidco, = £15.29 for students.

Oh dear... the infamous HMV "on order from supplier"... :whistling:

=P unless its something obviously wrong like the Halo 3 thing, then they should honour this - its been out a while and other shops (BlahDVD) have it at this price (without the 20% worth of discounts).

Wasn't implying they'll pull their regular "misprice" trick, I'm sure they will honour it, eventually...

Just that there's been a lot of posts on here from people having to wait a rather long time for things to be delivered when the site has said "on order from supplier". Maybe now Christmas is completely out the way HMV will be able to sort themselves out, and get things out quicker when this happens.

At this price, the game is an unmissable bargain - thoroughly recommended!!

for HMV Quidco are currently offering 5% on games purchases, not 10% as quoted in the OP.

10% is for DVDs, CDs, books and accessories.

Apologies, I cant read obviously!

Updated.

Why do people add the NUS discount & Quidco in the title? This can be mentioned in the post, don't you think?
Not everyone here is a student & not everyone uses Quidco. Please keep that in mind when posting!
#7
how do i get the student discount on the net?
#8
Take in your student card to HMV and they will give you a HMV Student Card.
Input this HMV Student Card Number into your profile on the HMV website, and voila.

And it doesnt need to be NUS.
Wish people would stop saying NUS as it can put off the vast majority of students who dont have NUS.

To Alien7:

The price in the title does not include the 10% NUS discount and 5% quidco. It is mentioned, as this game has been put up before at this price, but not with this level of discounts.

To Haggis Hunter:

Online, I merely put in my NUS card number into the My Account section. HMV accept both the NUS card number, and VIP Card Number, which I assume is your HMV Student Card Number. I dont have a HMV Student Card Number, and as such wouldnt know if the discount % was the same. Also at the university at which I attend, current Union council figures are that 65% of students are members of NUS. The card this year cost £10, and I've easily saved that much this month.

That still leaves 35% of people at your University without one.
You could save that £10 by just not buying one, you get most of those discounts anyway.
Also, those figures are just from your University, here i have never seen anyone with one, ever.
Its just easier to put "student discount".
