FILA were once a great name.... Tennis players of the 70s and 80s donned the Fila Logo and i am sure many of us who grew up in that period pestered their oldies for a Fila Trackie, Polo shirt or trainers... Now its poor quality and chav wear. Mike Ashley sells poor quality sports /fashion wear from companies who have undergone or suffering a down turn in their branding.. Slazenger, Dunlop, Fila, Admiral, YSL, Pierre Cardin, Goldigga, Playboy, No Fear, OP, lonsdale the list goes on.. .. i wonder if Mike Ashley actually has a share in these brand names as they all are guilty of manufacturing a lot of bullsh*t

I own a rather nice, well-made suit from Pierre Cardin. I don't think it's entirely fair to lump them in with Dunlop.

I knew that i should not fall for this deal and order from these *******s....i ordered 3 pairs in one order...they charged my credit card twice so i have to chase a refund...even worse they emailed me today to say one pair is out of stock so they will only send the other two which to me does not justify the delivery costs. 10 minutes later they sent an email to say the other two pairs has been dispatched eventhough they did not reply to my cancellation email claiming no one in the office (autoreply)...avoid

I know certain UK companies have bought up the naming rights to produce cheap clothes with 'famous' sporting brands on them.
High end sporting brands of the late 70's and early 80's like Fila, Kappa, Sergio Tacchini, Diadora and Donnay have all succumbed to this terrible fate....
Fila have managed to claw back a little bit of it's 80's rep by retroing the range of tracksuits that Bjorn Borg used to wear. This range is really good quality and shouldn't be confused with the 'Fila' tat that Sportsworld continues to sell.
