How small is small?!

Big enough to fit 68 cards in, so can't be that small, I would have thought! Wish we had a store near us, this would be ideal for cards for kids parties etc.

Also, any ending date? can't get into town until weekend

Same in Blackburn - but of the ones I looked at they all seemed to be Valentine's Day, Father's Day..maybe Mother's Day... I gave up as I didn't find any birthday cards.

Same here. I couldn't pick one useful card.

i got a big bag full yesterday inc gift tags and other bits that were all in the card box i managed to get 78 cards in my bag :)
the kids will use them for scrapbooking and making their own cards
we chose a lot of ones that had pompoms n stuff on or had fancy envelopes ( a cheap way of getting scrapbooking bits )

I was in there other week but they were just down 10p each card I think, loads of people scrurrying over them so can't be sure of price.

Thats a great idea I am always looking for something for the kids to chop up and stick, and I am always looking for envelopes too!

This is something to do with the Works closing several stores and moving stock into the remaining ones. Unfortunately nothing at the store near me. Good deal though.

The Works did this ages ago in several stores that were closing

Also my local store had loads of cards in this offer but they were all mixed up and there were no envelopes for most of them so i never bothered!

My local Works also did this but ALL the cards were absolutely awful. I couldnt find even one I would actually send to someone.

Saw this deal in the shops, but yep the cards were awful. Still, getting them to use for scrap booking or making stuff is a good idea. Just don't send me any of 'em. Voted hot.

On the subject of awful cards I was fed up with paying £2-3 pound for cards that only end up in the recycling bin after a few days so our family have a new tradition - we are in competition to send each other the most dreadful cheapest card we can find. So far i'm winning as I sent my sister in law an Xmas card that was written out 2 years ago, before our third child was born. I steamed it open and added her name in a different colour pen!! :-D

I saw this offer in the Metro Centre 2 weeks ago I think. I'm heading there again tomorrow night so I'll try and see if it is still available there :)
