Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - The Crystal Bearers opens up a whole new style of game design never experienced in previous 'Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles' games. Set in a huge and beautifully created open-world universe, players will be treated to a magnificent story of adventure, exploration and puzzle solving.

A thousand years have passed since the events of the original Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. The destruction of the Yuke Crystal during the Great War had at once brought the victorious Lilty Tribe prosperity, the defeated Yuke Tribe apparent annihilation, and the world a new age of science and reason. In this new era exists a rare breed of powerful beings called "crystal bearers", whose seemingly magical abilities have led them to be feared and scorned by the public.

A young mercenary name Layle, a crystal bearer, has been hired to escort the new passenger airship Alexis, the pinnacle of Lilty technology and a symbol of their current dominance. However, when the Alexis is suddenly besieged by a horde of monsters, Layle comes face to face with an adversary thought to have vanished from the pages of history, on a quest that may threaten the future of the world...

@liltman: Hate which Wii Controls? Just about each game controls differently...
In any case I don't think this game is big on the old "arm-ache" argument, but it's certainly not a traditional Final Fantasy game if that's what you're expecting. It's a third-person action-adventure. A bit like Beyond Good & Evil I suppose or "Legend of Zelda Lite" to put it another way.

It's also had mixed reviews, so I was put off buying it full price, but now it's come down a bit it's definitely hot.

Hey, by wii controls that I hate I mean when you have to point to control a character, so your arm is always up and moving about, I don't mind it on small mini games and party games but on a game as big as this, I would hate it...I am old fashioned I guess but I like to play my games with buttons and analog/dpad controls.

I don't mind that it would be like Zelda, I guess I am trying to find out if you move your character easily by sitting down relaxing with the dpad or if it is were you point and have to swipe at things to fight.

A good example of what I hate is how red steel plays, were you point and then use the nunchuk to move, I really do not like that one bit, it felt very uncomfortable so much so that I wanted to turn the game off and not even give it a chance, really I hated it so much lol.
