Worth watching. It's pretty good. Although Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is better.

With all the rich history of the Final Fantasy series, why oh why did they try and cobble together a below par Sci-Fi adventure?
#3
i watched the first 20-25 mins the otherday - seemed pretty good IMO [never played a Final Fantasy Game B4] - gonna try & see the rest 2day :)

I personally enjoyed this, it's different from FF and I appreciated it for that but Advent Children is better, voted hot!!

Good deal, shame the film was so bad
Advent children is better, though still nothing amazing

- A fan of final fantasy

Just to clarify that there are no spirits within this box. It is merely a DVD.

I know some people may have been confused.

I adore the Final Fantasy games to the point of obsession, but this is just utter *****.

Please save your money and don't buy it. Advent Children isn't any better either.

great film but the dvd looks rubbish on the hd tv

advent children is awful unless youve played the games

I dont think this should have been called final fantasy - just the spirits within

You're absolutely right, it wouldn't have left so many Final Fantasy fans disappointed. The film wouldn't have had any pressure or expectation to live up to.

It is misleading, I've played every FF game and think unless there's a connection to FF then it should be called something else. Putting the name Square/Squaresoft should have been enough or from the makers of.......

looking forward to this:

Awesome film - got it ages ago (7 years) and it was so cutting edge in terms of visuals - still looks good today and has some great voice acting too.

FF fans are a bit weird anyway so if they've accidentally been exposed to something other than silly little japanese animated ducks and crazy haired children with massive eyes, pointlessly hitting each other with giant swords then it's a good thing,

Absolutely, so why would they call it Final Fantasy when the target demographic would clearly be disappointed, particularly due to the lack of Japanese animated ducks! Ha ha.
