if you have a decent tv dont buy the region 2 release. it has blended frames, and is unwatchable.

Not for me it wasn't...

I hope they remake FFVII, the best FF game there is closely followed by FFIX

The animation in this is simply stunning. Some of the most slickest animation I have ever seen.

an action packed film, with a few neat fan bits, it was never gonna win an oscar but if you like manga esque stuff give it a go.

P.S just to remind people 7 wasn't the best game in the series, that was 6 ;)

Quality action, but would have never paid full price. The plots ****. I cant even remember who the guys fighting cloud were. just that they were tryin to bring back sephiroth. Also at one point they seem to be controlling the kids with geostigma, but it is used for nothing so seems a bit odd.

6 wasn't that good, i dont know why people like it so much, FFVII was 10x better. FF1-6 are all too similar, poor storylines (compared to later games) etc etc

i am the ultimate ff7 fan!

there is a game sequel, but its only out for the psp, called ff7 crises core

Brandon heat, the film is based very much on the game, the people cloud were fighting were the same people as in the game that worked for shinra

well its a matter of opinion, VI was more eastern influenced and was nothing short of a masterpiece.

obivously vii is like the new, better looking, slicker, model and appealed alot more to western audiences.

call me crazy but my favourite was VIII, ok the junction system was a bit annoying but I loved the storyline and I grew to like the Juntions! X for me is the all around package, great story fantastic graphics and the best battle system.

Its all gone terribly terribly wrong somewhere with XII!

This is a good price for FF fans, no doubt you'll see this DVD dirt cheap with the blue ray version FF:AC "Complete" coming out sometime in the near future.

BTW on that subject I recommend anyone who saw AC to look out for the "Complete" version as it has 25mins of unseen footage and they've also re-done some scenes too.

Out on April 16th in the USA

They should release FFVII in the playstation store. Loads of people would buy it. Including me.

I loved FFVII. I loved VIII too. And IX. X annoyed me, because of the weird way I couldn't fly around the world map and land where I wanted and I don't have my own PS2, so XII never got played. If a remake was done (not totally unlikely, seeing as IV was re-done completely for the DS and that's really good), I'd have to buy whatever system it was released on, no question!

This was a neat little anime film - definitely one for the series fans and anime lovers.

Crisis Core is a prequel and unfortunately only available on PSP which would have been better if it came out on eithe PS2/PS3. (My opinion anyway)

The people who were fighting Cloud were not working for ShinRa (Assuming you were talking about Kadaj, Yazoo, Loz). They were the remnants of Sephiroth which I'm not going into detail here as it's going to be a wall of text :p.

nodame, you are right!

i wouldn't mind a remake of ff7 the game, i think it was the best, i tried 8, and never liked it....i got stuck, and couldn't figure what to do, so sold it...
