GAME are charging £59.99 for New copy of infamous second son standard edition. I've never seem something so ridiculous. It was about £15 less before this and that was still ridiculous!

The Game price is beating Amazon / Shopto by £1. Is it worth the trouble to buy from Game?

In my local Game store (Staines) this has been labelled as £39.99 for an age. When it was first released they labelled it as £29.99 so how they justify the £10 bump up is beyond me. Glad to see they're at least being reasonable on their online store. HOT.

Bought this on PSN in recent sale for about £15 (as was never gonna sell it and want digital anyway).

Playing through FFX and it looks awesome on the VITA, the ability to just pick up and play for 30 mins and pause it (no more needing save points to stop playing!) is very good indeed.

Worth mentioning that the physical copy is only for FFX, as FFX-2 is a download code, which made me think I might as well buy both digital!

I wish there was a cross buy deal.

Don't we all mate!!

I actually got cheap PSN credit and would of cost me about £21 for both ps3 and Vita digital versions. Not actually that bad but I just couldn't bring myself to buy the same game twice...so went for Vita only out of principal.

GAME's strategy is to target mums who don't know enough about games. They walk in a pay the asking price and GAME continue to rip them off. It's just a matter of time before they close down.

Not just mums.

My (male) boss often moans about how much he paid for a game there.

Having said that he does have **** for brains.

Got this in the sale a few months ago and really happy with it. I've only ever played FFVII and Crisis Core before but was always keen to give this one a go.

Some of the dialogue is a bit odd and the voice acting varies massively but it is quite an old game so willing to put up with it. The gameplay seems a bit more linear than I was expecting but think I'm still at a reasonably early stage (just got the final party member) so it might still open out.

It's funny you mention how linear it is at the start. I remember playing FF13 and being annoyed at how linear it was. But now going back to replay FF10, it is just as linear (yet never was a problem at the time), but for some reason it does not bother me.

If you order before 1.30 it's same day despatch by first class so you should get it the next day. If you ordered now it would be despatched tomorrow so you'd get it Saturday.

What's the trouble? I've ordered from GAME a lot and have never had an issue at all.

Probably because the story and characters are interesting and treat the world with intrigue rather than cry and moan every cutscene.

Hope is hands down the single worst character in video game history.

I find it very hard to disagree with you! I stopped playing FF13 before it even got to the open world part. Was just boring. If I am being honest FF10 was the last FF I have liked. FF9 being my favourite.

I only found that out recently, from you I think, wish I knew before I paid Game's stupid in-store price for Mario Kart.

It's a bit confusing because the gift card actually says you can't use it online, and workers instore don't always know that you can. At least now you know so you won't have to pay their instore prices again because they are ridiculous, especially the Mario Kart 8 difference.

Same price as Amazon. I think I'd rather get it from there. Let's not feed the troll/Game. We should let it starve...

This or Persona IV golden?

Persona gets better reviews but having sunk roughly the same amount of time into both, I much prefer FFX. I gave up on Persona and don't have any real desire to go back to it. Personal opinion of course. I've seen so many people talk about how great Persona is but it's not for me.
