Hi
Thanks for posting. I have added an image to your post.
This is a link, made by rayman, which explains how to add images in great detail. It’s worth taking a look at if you are going to post more deals in future : - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/339941/how-to-post-and-host-images-for-thr/
Or follow the link in my signature.

Played 8 hours of it hoping it would get better and hated it ! Its like Enchanted Arms with slightly shinier graphics ! good price though, so heat left for that.

I'm over 70 hours in and doing end-game stuff - really enjoying it although parts of it are very linear.

Voted hot as it is the best price I know of right now, although there were better offers if you preordered it.
#5
I liked FF7 and 8 but not any of the others. Will ilike this one?
#6
This game is so linear it hurts. Run in a straight line, run into bad guys, press a continuously until their dead, rinse and repeat until they feel kind enough to give you a cutscene.
#7
hmm don't think i'll bother then. Uncharted 2 for me instead!
#8
It is pretty fun after 20 hours. But until then, the game is really really boring =[

I'd say wait until it drops further.
#9
It is quite linear, but once you get to Chapter 11 you get more freedom, ie. Missions etc. but it is great.

Gonna sell my normal copy and buy the collectors edition though, i wants that art book.

like me i loved FF7 and FF8 but this is not really like it at all,

a lot of people have already mentioned how linear this is, but it's a type of game where u really have to put a good 20 hours+ before it gets really good.

i am on chapter 11 and it's not about just walking in a straight line and pressing the action button and rinse the same move.. a lot more is involved now.

visually the game is stunning and i love the characters, yes even Vanille!! There were times when i got a little bored but i am glad i got to where i am at. Story and characters are really good too.

Worth getting the game, but wait for the price to drop.

i see what u mean, but the game teaches u about the battle system, skills, character development and etc, so although it gets boring at times it's not actually that bad. If ure not a FF fan then its probably best to wait for a price drop

I loved FFXII but cannot stand this one, 8 hours in you should at least be having some fun, I preferred enchanted arms to this I am afraid, had it for 3 days and took it back to the shop, shame as I was really looking forward to it :x

yeah dude i know what u mean, i've said in another thread that the the games developer should have put more effort into making the first part of the game a bit more fun. It's a shame because there is a good game behind all the negativity.

I'm on Chapter 8 about 18 hours through (I think), hopefully I'll start enjoying it soon, was getting bored of it last week.
#15
I'm about 6 hours in, and I'm in a boss fight. Couldn't figure out why it was taking so long until I realised that my 'partner' which I have no control over, was using blizzard on the monster, after I'd learned that the monster is healed by ice attacks. The guy was undoing all my work!!!

I'm really wanting to like this game, but I can't stand it. I can only play it half an hour at a time, because nothing seems to be happening. Too linear, and too confusing.

BTW... I loved Enchanted Arms!!! I prefer turn based fighting.

60 hours in and loving it. On part 11 doing the various missions levelling up before continuing with the main story. Surprised people are bored after a few hours - I really enjoyed the first linear 25 hours, though it's more fun now riding Chocobos looking for treasure etc I'll admit.

Price is ok, though I paid a bit less as a pre-order.

Err, you are doing a Libra as the very first thing you do when you encounter a new enemy aren't you? Once you've done that your allies will do the 'best' attacks depending on what Libra gleans about that enemy's vulnerabilities.

Certainly in my 60 hrs I've never seen any of my team heal the enemy! Some enemies do heal themselves though..

too confusing? Dude, if u cast libra then the other team members won't use attacks that heal the boss.. in fact it will only use attacks that they have weaknesses to.
This is what i mean about the game teaching u about the mechanics of the battles :)

Strangely enough i got to chapter 11 a couple of weeks ago (where it opens up) and havnt played it since. Maybe i was just expecting more.

Im on Chapter 8 at the minute, and its not as good as previous FF's (7, 8, 10, namely) but still one of the top releases out at the minute, but, if your not a fan of FF, wait for it to come down a bit, nearer £20 :)

I did say "After I'd learned". Seriously, I'm not joking, I used Libra twice, and yet each time I switched to Medic, the guy changed from doing Fira to Blizzard. It's crazy.

No idea why he keeps healing it!

there is a boss that changes it's elemental resistance to absorb different elements, but changes it's weakness to another as well. Maybe that's why the AI changes the magic s/he uses. The boss looks like Bulbasaur from pokemon, like a giant turtle with a bulb on his head.
I think i using light and hope and that time, with access to odin.
