  Haha, surely that's the first one... or FFX-2.
  Ugh, they've lost the plot since FFX actually. I keep buying them hoping they'll finally get back to the PSX days, but they never do :(
  
  Back to this though - wow, good deal. I bought it at launch for £40-odd (limited edition though), so I'm a bit annoyed. It's only been a few months!

  FFXIII (even with all it's flaws) was a much better game than this. I was so disappointed in this one I completed the main story and left it at that.
  
  Pros: Story continuation...sort of.
  
  Cons: Item upgrade system from FFXIII now gone
  Side quests are lame as hell
  Epic monster battles are gone
  2 'playable' characters
  Crystarium system changed for the worse
  
  Overall, I was disappointed at £30 and I'd still probably be disappointed at £10.
  
  Heat from me though as I'm a masochist and I'll still buy every other final fantasy that comes out :(

  They've fooled me twice now. Because XIII went down in price quickly, I waited and waited and the price didn't go down on this. The collector's edition was mispriced at £27 and I was like ahaaaaa :3 and bought it. The second I do that all the shops say f*** you and make the standard edition cheaper and cheaper and cheaper. As a mini artbook, hologram and a cd isn't worth that much, even collector's edition is £19.99 on Amazon. Oh and the game is better than XIII, which was already decent. It was just streamlined and they listened to everyone who whined about that and put some of it back in. £10.85 for a big budget game that's well rated with about 50 hours of gameplay (and 5 of cutscenes ;) ) isn't bad is it.
