I was so disappointed by this game.

Good price regardless.

The collector's edition is an utter abortion. Filled with useless tat and they had the nerve to charge £60 for it during release. I feel sorry for whoever bought it. Game quality is also questionable considering how good the PS1 editions were but it might float your boat. The PS1 CE of Final Fantasy 8 was worth having. Filled some brilliant stuff. Second hand copies still go for around £200 or round abouts on ebay if you can get hold of a listing every blue moon. I highly doubt this will command such demand in the future.

I'd recommend going for the game only if you really want it. Goes for a tenner or cheaper on zavvi if you use walkers codes. This price might appear cheap, but there's a reason why a collector's edition of a massive game series has dropped so low. It would have sold out long ago if it really was collectible.

got to admit it is hardly a good limited edition but good price none the less. The game is very mediocre and I would suggest anyone looking at this that hasn't played lost odyssey to buy that first as it is much better (and can be had for about £5)

Well it's only £3 more than the regular version is going for. Not everyone has those Walkers codes :PCould sombody who's played Star Ocean: The Last Hope tell me which is the better? I really enjoyed the latter and that also got some mixed reviews (seemingly having similar flaws to FF XIII)... so I may end up enjoying this too..

You don't need walkers codes, FF13 is £9.95 as standard in pretty much every single monday madness promotion in the past month. Can't see that changing. Plus anyone who really wanted it would have snapped it up long ago, especially at that price. This is a rubbish collector's edition at an ok price. Even diehard fans of the series will be bitterly diappointed. I had the misfortune of paying £55 in March when it was released. I'm lucky that it wasn't released in the USA as some poor sod paid me £80 to take it off me. Will never be worth half that now.

Currently playing through this on the PS3 and I think it's great. Graphics are amazing and the story is holding up so far.

Lost Odyssey is very grindy and feels like a lot of hard work whereas FF13 is a joy to play. For me at least.

I remember when this was coming it out, it was going to be the biggest game ever! Too bad it isn't. Not getting this but heat for the good price!

Good price but the game was rubbish. The japs are so far behind this was just chilish purile rubbish. A million miles behind the best rpf these days. Play fallout, oblivion and mass effect proper modern RPG tha western gamers want to play.

Personally I tried this and was so disappointed, repetitve chilish nonsense.

They're not the same sort of game, two of them are first person, one of them is an FPS with a cheat button and Mass Effect is a third person shooter (but bloody good).

as soon as i saw this i knew there was gunna be a little flame war. ffs guys it was an amazing game stop acting all american and just play the game as it is, i dont see any flaws in the game at all, story was awesome, graphics are amazing, music was wicked and gameplay was fukin brilliant. stop whining and go suck off oblivion some more, OMG U CAN RUN AROUND congratu-fuking-lations

I too put out for the collector's edition on release day and was quite disappointed with what there was. I'd admittedly say that this is properly worth getting due to retail value and not much more. I generally thought it was an okay game but I wouldn't recommend to people who aren't into JRPG's or haven't heard or had the chance to play any of the other titles in the Final Fantasy series.
There are also many mixed views about this game but a lot of fans like me were disappointed.
If your looking for a good JRPG on the Xbox 360 go for Lost Odyssey and if you have any chance of locating Tales of Vesperia go for that but unfortunately it is very hard to find in Europe and expensive where it is...
