great game for this price

Poor game used to love this series not anymore wudnt waste a fiver on it

Awful game. They've dumbed down everything in this one, so that you can pretty much just spam the auto-battle function throughout the game. Coupled with a horrible story that completely lacks explanation, & annoying emo characters that you can't help but wish death upon.

Save yourself a fiver & buy something better.

That's just your opinion though isn't it? For only a fiver I think anyone could at least give it a go before making up their own mind.

Obviously you haven't played the game too much. The battle system is actually pretty darn tactical, especially when you return to Eden. The gameplay is very linear, though.

should really put pre owned in the actual title, bit misleading

hey if i can just spam one button im all for it, if i could platinum a ff game id be happy.
paid 9 quid for the platinum edition from zavvi the other week. not played it yet but im all for dumbing down. could never get into ff before, way too boring. but thats the last thing you want to hear i suppose.
ill just laugh when they dumb down call of duty multiplayer so your gran can press one button and blow half the map up.
#15
Cold poor game and 2nd hand, you can get it new for a bit more

its only a fiver...worth it for the native 1080 cutscenes..reserved at nottingham..hot!

The funny thing is, for those who think that the auto-battle option dumbs down the gameplay, you could always.... ya know.... not press auto-battle? Its not compulsory.

Personally I thought it was a decent game, my biggest problem is that they didn't really exploit the fantastic battle system until the post-game missions. Some of those mission battles were fantastic, and would have been better placed in the main story.

Thanks, none in stock but ordered it to collect from store on Monday - Bristol

Virtually everything from Argos looks pre-owned whether it is or not. Looks like they play football with the boxes in the warehouse. Here's a pic of a 'new' angle grinder I bought off them a while back:

That doesn't surprise me, I worked in Argos for 6 weeks last christmas

The warehouse was an accident waiting to happen, broken ladders, inadequate shelving system, stacking 3 slow cookers on top of one another 10 feet up is not right.

and then my boss made a mockery of me, F**k Argos,

Now that's HD

But yeah £5 for this beats the over the top price I paid for the collector's edition but the visuals are absolutely fab.
And stop whining, if you buy it and find it's not for you, go straight to CEX for your money back, heck you may even make a few quid if their price stays as it is: £6 cash/ £8 exchange

Voted hot as exceptional price, even for preowned. I do, however, think that "preowned" needs to be in the title, otherwise it is misleading.

As for the quality of the game, I really enjoyed it despite it's extreme linearity until near the end. There's lots of endgame content, although grinding can be frustrating when you repeatedly spend 5 minutes finding and killing an Adam-thing only for it to drop nothing whatsoever.
#28
maybe available locally here - thanks for the tip
#29
iv had pre owned games from argos before and they have been in great condition,

i agree the game aint up to the ff7 standard but for a fiver you cant go wrong your prob still get more then a £5 for it on ebay if you sell it

But with ps3 games it doesnt matter, no immature 5 year olds chewing on the discs. Plus theyre pretty much scratch resistant unless you take a stanley to them.

my opinion too. Its greay for a few hours but then becomes mindlessly repetitive

still worth a fiver for a few hours though and you'll get that back when selling on
