Is it going to be full of 'unbiased' reports about the anarchists who protest against democracy ?

A very touchy topic I know, but I try to imagine what would have happened if H.Clinton was the new president - would all the so-called 'right wing fasci*t na*i etc etc' Trump supporters have demonstrated and started fires everywhere ?

You have to ask yourself who are the real enemies of democracy when these things happen I feel.

That's the sort of thing which happened in Stalinist Russia - is that the sort of world you want to live in ?

It's fairly clear which side of the fence you are on...
One persons enemy of democracy is another persons freedom fighter. Rather than see those people as damaging democracy, imagine them as SO offended, and SO scared, that they are driven to extreme measures?
Maybe, if Mrs C was elected, there wouldn't be such fear in the population, and therefore there wouldn't be such strong emotions at play.

So if you don't like the result of a free democratic election you just trash the place, very grown up.

oh behave! Was it tens of thousands on the rampage? No it wasn't was it? It was, as usual, a small minority, who were seized upon to make headlines. Just like it was over here when the students kicked off in London. It was probably less than 50 actual troublemakers, but was made to look far worse.
I'm not advocating the trouble, it shouldn't happen, but put it in proportion.

I did put it in proportion. I know the total was only 400 with a small portion of them who caused the trouble but i've watched the reaction to both brexit and the trump election with the loser of both claiming some sort of crime was done against them. I don't think it's me who has to behave I think it's people who get don't get what they want who the go on to whine, and in some cases vandalism and acts of violence, and blame everyone who didn't vote as they did ignorant or whatever accusation they feel fits their angst.

It's called democracy. I know some are trying to rewrite the definition of that, but people are allowed to vent their anger and frustration. Some feel it more strongly than others.

People are allowed to vent their anger and frustration????? Burning cars and smashing other peoples property are criminal acts. They should be severely punished. This has to stop, as does the posting of 'hot deals' that are politically motivated on this site. The mods should be stopping this now. But I won't be vandalising anything if I don't get my own way.

Did you deliberately ignore my earlier post? I said it shouldn't happen. But in any massive demonstration there are always some who either take things too far or use the demo as a cover for their own agenda. It shouldn't lessen the bigger point.
