  One of my first jobs was with findus and I worked on the Lasagne line, when they say 28% beef, that is true, but what it means is that 28% of the product that went into it was from a cow (or bull), believe me not much of that was what you would call meat.
  
  for the unit cost and then the mark up, I'm voting cold on anything above 12p!
  
  Don't get me started on the crispy pancakes! lol, anyone else woked the bl's?

  These are the best microwave lasagnes available. Hot, however these are usually selling for £1.99 and go on offer for £1 sometimes, so putting them to 50p is a pain in the butt because they could just lower the price to £1 all the time rather than dropping it like a rock for a small time.

  Thanks OP, sometimes Im just too tired/lazy/busy to actually cook a proper meal, which is when ready meals like this come in handy. Hopefully can pick some up tomorrow at my local tesco :)

  If only you knew what you were talking about. The 28% is the amount of the entire product that is beef expressed as a percentage.
