Made with large almonds, pecans and cherries. Laced with sherry, vintage port, and brandy. Matured for 6 months.

Picked a couple of these up over the last few days, cracking saving if you like luxury puds. Use by showing as 2010!

Watch out - showing as £10 on the cake shelves, but in the Seasonal section marked as £4.99 and £4.99 on my bill.

If last years are anything to go by then I would save yourself the time and money you are going to waste buying one of these. We had one because we always go for the luxury ones and this was just awful. The suet from the pudding left a really thick layer on our lips and roof of our mouths. Tesco are also selling Mrs Peeks pudding half price £2 instead of 4 and we've bought 2 because they are smaller than the luxury ones. Apparently you can't go wrong with a Mrs Peeks pudding so I can't wait to try it.

Not tried them before, tried ASDA last year (had it in storage for a year) and it was lovely. If it's not nice when I try it I'm sure Mr Tesco will be receiving a letter from me.

I second that...at least the £4.99 chocolate ones were. And if you waited until after Christmas they eventually dropped to £1.99. I think I must have bought 20 of the things!

I don't see why anyone would buy this!
For £5 you can buy the ingredients to make a bigger and oh-so-much nicer christmas pudding yourself. Moist, and dark and rich and *drools*
Try it!!

Not strictly true... even if you were to buy just one shot bottles of port, sherry and brandy! :whistling:

And I was stocking up on baking supplies the other day... ouch.

Good deal though.
