Finish Dishwasher Gel 1L 99p @ 99p store

Each of these is 50 loads for me!

It's in the white tub as per picture rather than yellow as in the Supermarkets. It has Arabic (plus English) on it, looks like it was made for UAE market. The active ingredients are the same concentration as usual.

Expiry is may 2016

Bargain! Hate paying a fortune for dishwasher products, some of them are such a rip off especially finish. Will be going and getting some more tomorrow to stock up.

I've been using Waitrose own brand which has lower %age active ingredients and it's fine. This should be better.

well, I have tried this recently and I must say I did not noticed any differences.
if the signs in the dispenser mean 15ml and 25ml (i used the 25ml ) than 1L is for 40 washes.... awesome!
of course we need salt and rinse aid as well.
but
with fairy rinse aid (99p) and finish salt (2x99p) the result is perfect. ;)

I live in hard water London even with all in one rinse aid salt tablets you still need to use rinse aid and salt.

Does it say on the pack it's a complete cleaner ? If so I assume you wouldn't need rinse aid or salt.

maybe I was not clear enough. I do use rinse aid and salt and with this gel the resault is perfect (London ).

probably I am going back today to buy another 5 or more :)

this stuff will offer big savings then. 2 pence per wash as opposed to 10 for something like fairy platinum tablets. OF course we need to factor salt & rinse aid on top, but I use those even with tablets. I am going to try these thanks OP - hot.

I find even the more expensive gels save me money as I have a small dishwasher and so use less liquid than you would in a full size one. This will save me even more. I find gel washes well. As I live in a hard water area, I always use salt even with the multi action tablets, so rinse aid extra is not very much.

Same here, tiny dishwasher so a whole tablet is a waste.

These are £5 in Sainsbury's. And looking at the ingredients, it has added salt but I can't see anything of rinse aid in the active ingredients. Sainsbury's just has cleaner, no salt.

Time was when dishwasher powder was available dirt cheap. Then they had the idea to press it into tablets so they could sell less and charge more. At least gel allows you to measure out your own amount again.

Well it works fine and if you're concerned about over dispensing, it has a nozzle flow thingy that stops is pouring out all at once. It comes out in a slow steady stream, no wastage.

yep, I bought another 5
elephant and castle's 99 has a lot.

You dishwasher will have markings in the place you put the liquid. Mine has 20ml and 30ml markings.

Also CIF full 500ml size is available too. Always find this best for cleaning bathroom.

I think it will be better on the short washes as the tablets needs to dissolve.

In your manuals there should be cycle time and KWH per cycle, if you know your unit rate for electricity you can work out cost per cycle. It's surprising, ECO is one of the most expensive for me as it's a standardised cycle across all dishwashers but I don't see how it's eco. Eco is 55deg and costs about 22p, my 50deg wash which doesn't dry but cleans as well is 3.7p. Worth looking into. Because some cycles are over 30p and per load that really adds up.

I bought one today but not sure how to use it!! My washer has a compartment where the tablet will normally fit..do I pour the gel in the same area?
