why not save around £15 pre-ordering the 16gb and buying 32gb card for around a fiver? you then have 48gb on board for less £94.99.

"Stunning 8" HD display (189 ppi / 1280 x 800)"

Not likely, that's a basic low end display.

Anyone know if you can install Google play store on here without rooting (and thus potentially bricking) it?

Selling same model for last 2 years at same price. This is quite old now

Not really a deal so not voting either way. They have this on the German site for 20€ off for prime members, making it around £75, so I am going to hold off until Prime Day, when I think they will knock the price down to a similar level (I have Prime).

There are videos showing how to add Google apps (inc the store) on YouTube. I have the HD 6 and it took max 10 minutes to download and add the apps to get all of Google to work on it.

I have work iPad, so just after something to throw in a bag / read etc and I think this will just about do. It competes against the Lenovo Tab3 8 which could well be the same basic device as the spec is nearly the same. This has Marshmallow and similar battery, but gets less hours despite having the same screen. Think the idea of twelve hours from a tablet is appealing.
