Incredible price and I am sure it won't be around for long!!

OK, they may not be the best tyres in the world, but good for the money (only the size shown seems to be available at this price)

FIRESTONE - MULTIHAWK
165/60R14H

The Firestone Multihawk is targeted at drivers of small to medium sized cars, where value and reliability are of prime importance.
An even load distribution across the tread contact area of these tyres optimises stability and tyre wear.
Advanced tyre technology means the Firestone Multihawk has excellent water dispersal qualities, making it resistant to aqua-planing.
In wet evaluation tests the Multihawk outperformed its competitors in reduced braking distances.
The Firestone Multihawk outperformed other tyres in terms of durability, making these tyres extremely good value for money

Kwik fit price for same tyre is £54.00 each fitted, Mytyres £39.10 (delivered only) and Blackcircles £48.61 fitted.

Maybe this is a mistake!

Good luck hope you get them

It's a pricing error and won't come off. They're meant to be £49.70 each. Tyres to fit my car by the same manufacturer cost just under £60 each.
#16
I've ordered only 1 , if HMV can honour £99.99 boxsets for £4.99 , that 0.1% just might work for about 30 secs past 9am tomorrow .
#17
Worth a try:thumbsup: ordered 5 for a mates clio:gift: HOT
#18
oh let us know if this was right.hot hot hot if so.perhaps the hottest ever :)
#19
Hardly worth a try. Why would they honour it when theyre within their rights not to....especially when the price is so obviously wrong and itd probs cost em more than that for fitting alone..! You might have half a chance if it was a solely online deal but seeing as in this case you'll be meeting them face to face for the fitting....what half-wit would knowingly agree to it lol.

When ur down to 0.01% chance why bother posting deals like this unless ur 95%+ positive they'll be honoured. No better than posting an out of stock product tbh.
#20
lol yeah prob meant to be £44.99 .. someone's getting the can tomorrow :P

HOT HOT HOT my tyre size and all but I just got new tyres alround for 65 and I thought that was great
#21
Are these too small for a Rover 25?
#22
Check your rover for the size that are on it.
#23
I will be happy if they offer a sweetner if they do cancel
#24
If its a true price do you really want to risk your life on £5 tyres ??????

For all your ranting & raving you obviously don't see the fun side of things do you !

No one in their right mind would expect this to be actually honoured BUT for the sheer audacity of 0.1 % ( ) I received a £10 off voucher that brought the tyre I will now order down in price .

:p

Exactly, no harm in trying. I have ordered many items with mistaken prices over the years. Yes, a fair amount are cancelled, but I have had some cracking items delivered (e.g Sony DVD/VHS player for £1 in total incl delivery, 8800gt graphics card for £22 instead of £220, 80GB hard drive for less than £2) that 1 in a 50 that is delivered makes it worth while for me :w00t:.

and now a £10 voucher for my next tyre purchase..

What harm comes from giving it a try

Probably not in the UK no :whistling:

But at Walmart in the USA you get lifetime rotate & balance, road hazard cover and lifetime replacement cover for $9 per tyre

Most stores don't charge you to fit the tyres if you take the cover either - it's a no brainer!

But my point was when the deal is so obviously not gonna be honoured, I'd rather not waste my time and deal with losing the 0.01% I would have had :p

I mean if you're sole intention was to hope for a sweetner that's a different matter...so fair-play to getting a £10 voucher!

Yeah it's shame I'm "ranting n raving" so tell me how can I condense the above into 1 line :whistling:

How can you loose somthing you never had:roll::p

I have gained a voucher I never had :-D

Some rep for the OP on the way:thumbsup:
#34
Don't u get it? You're losing the 0.01% chance. And by definition a chance is something that doesn't exist. PWnED

But if you're still after something to lose don't worry, there is time n effort :-D

You gained a voucher by luck, but still as i said gj n fair play 2. Katherine is a generous soul eh?:whistling: hehe.

Why do you keep mentioning 0.01% ?

99.9 plus 0.01 is 99.91 % , NOT 100% , learn your maths mate .

If you don't try you don't get !

I hate that attitude , " you'll never get anything so why bother " .

Nice post , well done those who got something out of it .

Don't u get it? You're losing the 0.01% chance. And by definition a chance is something that doesn't exist. Don't know what dictionary that is from but it certainly isn't right - a chance is an opportunity or a gamble that may pay off, but it may not. Either way if you don't take the "chance" then you definitely won't have the opportunity to benefit! PWnED

Plus I received my £10 voucher in the post this morning, and I get a free puncture repair as an after-sales offer. Not bad for nothing! Thanks OP!
#39
jeez i meant as in not tangible, coz obviously u can lose something uve never had if its not tangible.....but jtx had to try n be smart for some reason. This is getting too deep for a tyre topic eh? So why u lot have to drag it into something else by making non-constructive comments instead of getting the gist of what I was saying? moral of this being not worth trying to discuss a point online with strangers
