Appears to be at least a tenner at most other places. although also in the 3 for £20 @ Amazon which makes it slightly cheaper for those who prefer them.

This also includes Clarke's 1989 drama 'Elephant'

This unflinching drama from the controversial director of Scum explores the violent world of football hooligan Bex Bissell (played in a bravura performance, by Gary Oldman, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy ), as he wages bloody war against rival gangs to decide who will lead a national ‘firm’ into Europe to do battle on an international playing field.

Originally censored prior to its broadcast, The Firm has now been transferred in High Definition for the very first time, and is presented in two different versions, including a Director’s Cut which finally restores previously unseen material.

Extensive extras include a newly recorded audio commentary with Gary Oldman, the High Definition premiere of director Alan Clarke’s celebrated Elephant , and a new documentary about the making of Elephant and The Firm .

The Complete Alan Clarke at the BBC is also available on DVD and Blu-ray box sets from the BFI.

I think all estate agents model themselves on Bex
#3
I'll never forget the scene where his son puts the razor blade in his mouth :-o
#4
Never realised how short this film actually was till recently, only about an hour long

Symptoms is the same price, so I'll probably pick that up (I can wait a bit longer to get The Firm/Elephant).

I think Culloden/The War Game and Farewell My Concubine are the same price too...not bad! But Flipside titles of late have been a bit pricier on releae (£12.99), so £8 is a good £5 saving.

A cup of tea would have been nice
