Where's your local store?

Birmingham Perry Barr.

It looks like the same one that Lloyds Pharmacy are selling as a twin-pack for £20.

#6

Is this nationwide?

I had one of these and it went off ( in living room with no gas equipment/fires etc ) even when there was no CO present ( brother is Gas Safe registered and checked the house with industrial equipment ). Guess I had a faulty unit but it worried the hell out of me when it went off.

I don't trust these units but better to be worried and have it checked rather than suffer the consequences though.

I agree; I've had a couple of close shaves, once shortly after my rented flat's boiler had purportedly been checked and serviced!

Is your home in a building that contains other homes? Only my old SF350 detector alerted me when another apartment's boiler was emitting Carbon Monoxide that was apparently making its way across the shared hallway and into my apartment.

Even if you get your own boiler regularly checked and serviced, do you know that your neighbours do?

Checked this out at ADSA, Farnborough and they aren't available at all. Is this a local deal?

They did have Kidde smoke detectors for £5 (inc battery) and the Kidde basic CO detector for £13, which is a very good deal if you cannot get the £7 ones.

Great price paid £14 for Tesco a couple of months ago and that was supposed to be half price.
We were on our hols at the time in a caravan, it was a great size to have with us and made me feel a little safer there as the caravan looked quite old
