Chardonnay and Shiraz available.

OK so maybe you won't be opening your dinner party with this stuff, but if your guests are ploughing through your best plonk, First Cape is a more than serviceable alternative to bring out later on. A very nice everyday wine. And here it is with a double discount, £3.14 a bottle, presumably because someone has coded it wrong.

The normal price for Sainsbury's First Cape wines is £4.49. Multiplied by 6 for case, that is £26.94. Sainsbury's are offering 25% off a variety of cases which takes this down to £20.20, and that is the price shown on the shelf. However when you ring this through the till it comes out at only £18.85.

I bought a case of Shiraz yesterday and noticed this, so when I went to get my lunch today I thought I'd see if it replicated by stocking up on Chardonnay - lo and behold, it did.

Looking at the receipt (on which my lunch is the extra £3 you see :D ) I seem to be getting an unadvertised discount for buying 4 as well as for buying 6.

Worth stocking up I reckon - £22.80 in Tesco's

Hi Coenfan,
Thanks for posting.
Could you please post your receipt pic (thanks for getting it) in a reply box in this thread, so that it can be seen. It's a bit too small where it was , above the price.
Best regards, Chesso
