You do realise these tickets are for next Tuesday?

Omg! I'm such an idiot. I've gone and ordered another from todays similar thread for Fulham tmrw. Don't suppose anyone wants my Cineworld Wandsworth ticket for one on the 18th? I can email a PDF copy.

Edited By: dip86 on Oct 12, 2011 19:26
Went to the screening at Vue Bristol yesterday, and they gave out a whole box of dermalogica skin care on every seats. Nice :)

loads of people didn't want to leave, and wait then walking around to see if there is any empty seats with freebies around which of course none left.
Some new locations for tomorrow:

its very good (although I never saw the point of going in a group when you are supposed to be quiet and sitting in the dark watching a film anyway!)

Urgh. Ended up missing it anyway cos I got stuck in hospital. Oh well.

when it says this is valid until 30th april, is it valid ON the 30th april?

Anyone confirm this?
when it says this is valid until 30th april, is it valid ON the 30th april?
It is legit :) I was unsure, so I emailed Thorpe Park and they confirmed that it is a REAL, working voucher.

This is the reply:

Thank you for your email regarding your enquiry. We are pleased to confirm that this offer is legitimate and you will be able to redeem your 2 free Fastrack as long as your voucher is valid on the day you visit the park. All you will need to do is take the voucher to one of our sales desks on park (located in the dome or by Nemesis Inferno) and you will then be able to redeem your voucher for the SAW-the Ride Fastrack tickets.

We hope that you have an enjoyable visit to THORPE PARK soon.

Kind Regards,

We used the fast tracks on Monday and only had to queue for ten minutes as opposed to the hour and half normal queue time.

hey did you use this specific voucher? as we are hoping to use it when the season opens in march as its valid until april 2011 apparently, I just don't want to get to the park and find out they are fake lol and end up pay 39quid each :/

thanks :)
So...can I book tickets online and still use this voucher as T&C say can't be used on 'advance bookings'?
boltyboy
Because as I said in my previous post Fastrack is elitist, if you can afford to pay more you jump the queue. Not a good example if you ask me.

But it subsidises the normal ticket prices (and the constant 2for1 vouchers) meaning those who perhaps otherwise couldn't afford to go to the park can - albeit whilst queueing for a little longer. They also put a time on all the fast track tickets, and only sell a certain amount for each period, so you won't be queueing forever.
I would say good luck to them if they can afford it.
They would only be in the queue in front of some one anyway if they werent on Fast Track.

I went a week ago last Tuesday and did 18 rides including 3 Saw and 7 Stealth in 4 1/2 hours and no Fastrack.

Thats great but why complain about fast track if you are managing to do all those rides.
The most ive managed was about 11 rides in 6 hours.

went to see it x dont be too disapointed if u dont get any tickets lol its not the best suppose its ok if ur over 60

Well, I have already seen it - and enjoyed it, and I'm not over 60 !!
Just got 2 more tickets to give to a friend, who has been through a bad patch, and could do with a night out.

OK, not Oscar material, but a gentle British comedy, not too taxing, but also a bit of social history for the younger viewer.
My teenage companion thoroughly enjoyed it
Thanks op

where does it say for the free tickets, i got onto the website but were is the bit you click on?
cold cos it's not really free.... in fact you will end up paying through the nose as you always do on paintball.
I took my son and his friends for his birthday, set me back over £500 and we limited how many paintballs they had.they had a brill time but very expensive.
usual cost of paintballs is £7-9 and you will use around 100 a game, usually 10 games through the day, so thats £60-80 roughly..

I would be shocked if you used only 300-400 paintballs. you really are not getting into the games or are getting killed easily.
Cold for me. I won 100 paintballing vouchers in a competition.Yay.Great and perfect timing for my nephews 16th birthday.Sorted.Turned out you have to pay as 5208 says above plus all your snacks and more for extra paintballs.Which meant a few thousand bullets per kid to make it a good day for them all.Way to expensive.MUST read the small print.Its a must.:{

good deal nyway
are the tickets for one person, cuz it mentions the amount of games, but not the people!!
yeah I gotta agree, ends up costing nearer £50 for the day out lol.
I went once and used 400 paintballs and i was being very scarce with shooting.. include travel there and back and buying some food and it sets you back a fair bit!
Check with the venue as for what packages are available. I did one a while ago that was half a day and worked out at about £30 quid each. Not cheap but a different and fun day out
super_leeds_86

Its never £7.50 or 'free'.

You need around 500-1000 paintballs... 1000 if you actually want to play every game and not have to worry too much about ammo. Nearly every promotion which allows free entry or 'paintball' for £10 doesnt give you anywhere near enough paintballs and then they overcharge you for paintballs you will need to purchase.

It usually works out ALOT cheaper if you buy a package with 500-1000 paintballs included rather than a 'free' promotion.

£7.50 for 100 paintballs and on the UKPaintballs website it says some vendors only allow you to purchase per 100.. so you're looking at £40-75 per person (more than likely £75). Alot of paintballing venues do package deals which give you 1000 paintballs for £40-50, so it works out cheaper if you just go paintballing normally than use one of these deals which aims to trick you into thinking its a cheap day out.

The amount of paintballs needed is a variable, i.e its upto you. It depends how you play the game, if you go in like rambo shooting all over the place then you will need 600+ for the day.

I've been a fair few times and never used over 500 but some friends thought they were starring in a Vietnam film and used well over a 1000 plus smoke bombs.

Fair do's you can use only a few but as this is for the summer holidays and it's aimed at kids............

Myself I always use loads. I would say I'm slightly better than average at accuracy and feel that if someone is standing somewhere stupid they deserve to be shot as many times as possible. It's educating them isn't it :D

I just checked availability at all 10 cinemas again (at 12.45 pm on Friday 21 May 2010) - and there still seem to be tickets available for Middlesbrough (but nowhere else), so not sure why this is expired

sad_far, I tried to get 2 tickets for Nottingham for you, but unfortunately the following message appeared when I tried to book them: 'Sorry! Due to the high demand for this film, all the tickets have been allocated. Please register with us to be informed about screenings in your area.' I think that tickets may be available for other areas as when I tested Enfield, it gave me the option of selecting 1 or 2 tickets.

I just checked availability at all 10 cinemas, and as of now (2.07 pm) there only seem to be tickets left for Enfield and Middlesbrough.

Thanks Holly  I'm not even interested if there are any tickets near me... I wouldn't go to see it even if they pay me, not very good at horrors... :-D h&r added anyway :)
Great film, enjoyed it a lot, and it does something interesting with the Zombie horror genre. Definitely need to see [Rec] first though, as this one follows on 15 minutes after the first one ends, and there are significant sections that will only make sense if you've seen that!
