Hi, how do you get the 11% off? Or do you mean that if you call them, you have to pay 11% extra?
tc_Joness
First choice owned by Thomas Cook, hmmmmm
You mean Thomsons :)

Yes, sorry. TUI own First Choice. TUI own Thomson.

The £100 off has been going on for some time. I really do not see any difference in price.
Where is the 11% off?

Firstchoice is owned by TUI but all holidays are all-inclusive.

I usually call Thomas Cook and ask for them to split the rooms as separate bookings and apply discount to each one. They do this. Online, I am scared a holiday may sell out once one room is booked!

I took the family last year, it was brilliant, & we are going again on the 23rd of this month. The best price was £2200 for a family of four all inclusive for a 14 night stay.

It's a superb hotel, & the waterpark is MEGA!

...can you tell i'm excited :-)

Heres a video of the complex: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coW6r4oOHI0

Who did you book through pls?

I'd avoid the price first.
Yup, you stick to Bognor mate, I hear the weather is EPIC at this time of year. LOL
Sounds expensive for the time of year
I'd avoid the price first.
Cracking Hotel and such lovely staff.
I wouldn't have a problem going to Egypt.

Cheap, but folk just don't want to go there at the moment. Boring for couples, hopeless for a single looking to socialise.
Not entirely sure what page you are on? We mostly go on holiday to get some sun and laze around doing exactly what we want when we want!
If unlimited booze, food and snorkeling is included - bonus.
"hopeless for a single looking to socialise" - simply an incredibly naive assumption. If I went away alone the main reason would be because I wanted a holiday not to join a "social club"
Next time there is a deal for families at Disney World or Centre Parc I may just have to point out that it's useless for "single looking to socialise"
Judging by the "deals" you have posted, I can't take anyone seriously that posts about The Bay City Rollers, or All Inclusive Benidorm holidays that comes from the midlands.
That nasal drone.... LOL
Lol - already booked have we...

I tend not to care about people too stupid to post useless mouth - and then edit it - if they haven't posted a deal.

Find it a bit pathetic that people do post on deals they aren't interested. Even sadder, edit their comments - bwahahahahah!

Takes all sorts I guess.

On the look out for a deal I am completely uninterested in.......

Don't worry - I am just as sad hahha! x

He has a point, lots of people assume single people are always looking for love or to socialise, I'm sure there are plenty of single people that are happy with their own company.
You have both totally missed the point.

It's cheap because the tourist trade has virtually collapsed in Turkey . Russian visitors down by about 95%. Plenty of sun loungers though . Wouldn't go for free.

Russians are not going as one of there planes got shot out of the clouds . But out of every cloud there is a silver lining . And more reason to go if there are no Russians queue jumping .
MCGONIS
Voted hot for the price. I have tried Turkey twice, once to Marmaris 10 years ago and then Bodrum (or maybe Gumbet) 7 years ago and I got too stressed out. You know at night when you go out for your dinner, I just wanted to walk along and look, but they kept stopping me and asking me in and I got I couldn't take it anymore. I have just stuck to Spain since then. I have been told just to ignore the workers and keep walking but that is not in my nature. I know quite a few people that go to Turkey year after year and really love it, but I couldn't relax to be honest. Superb price though.

Least of the problems now. Getting dragged in off the street won't be for a drink.

I am wondering the price soo god . I been with my family last year I am really enjoy.
We just got back from sharm going against the governments advice and it was safe. Never felt scared. Your own town center could be the next attack or some crazed up jinkie could be busting down your door. Prefer to look back and have traveled around rather than looking back and thinking of all the memories I had locking myself in the house :). Great deal.
Stayed at this hotel twice.. last time summer 2015.. great hotel.. food good.. staff friendly.. and if i can get a holiday for the right price in the summer.. may well be back again in the summer..great deal.. in the summer its £3000 for 3 of us.. what are we not going to go abroad because we're worried about terrorist attacks? Really? I will certainly be going back to Turkey.. whether its this or another hotel..
Nope looked through my posts no mention of Asia, or North Africa. Just Turkey where I said I would avoid Istanbul and Ankarra. Also to avoid Egypt.

I just find it difficult to understand how people have got so conditioned into being scared of terrorism when things like people dying falling over from putting on their trousers in the morning or dying from bee stings account for more deaths. If we all thought like this we wouldn't leave the house.........or put on any trousers:). Seriously though , if thinking about Turkey I would not go to Istanbul or Ankarra, anywhere else holds no more risk than anywhere else. You are a lot more likely to get shot in Florida. Personally the only country that is popular with Brits that I would not go is Egypt. On that cheery note I will leave it be.
People day the most drivilish things. Just how many British people have been shot in Florida in the last few years and how many have been brutally murdered and beheaded in North Africa and the Middle East. You spout bile.
We are talking about Turkey , so you are actually talking drivel. I said there are places in Turkey to avoid like Istanbul and Ankarra. Actually more people have actually been shot in the USA than in Turkey so you are wrong there as well. Also I didn't mention North Africa or Middle East so what are you on about. I was talking Turkey

You certainly were. Actually Turkey is a terrorist hot spot and last time I looked half of Turkey was in Asia.

The hotel is actually situated in Bucerias, not downtown Puerto Vallarta. Very safe area amd no problems leaving the hotel at night. Going again soon and will be my 7th time without seeing any trouble whatsoever. I would have no problem recommending this hotel or area to anyone.

A good price but having been to the area shortly after the local drug barons decided to petrol bomb garages and a bank below a hotel I'd try to check the safety situation before taking children there. It isnt easy to do that - people were claiming on tripadvisor, for example, that there had been little damage when there was a photo of the burnt out bank if you searched on google.

Great beach and drink service by friendly staff. But get down early to snag chairs, otherwise you may miss out!
I've been here as well - the week after Mexicans were setting light to petrol stations and firebombing a bank. The government suppress any bad press as soon as they can so it's very difficult to find out about safety.

We had a reasonable holiday as the local people were grateful tourists were still visiting but the beach is not that great, the location makes it a little awkward to get around, the Americans are very loud and I wouldnt like to talk about the pool. Also quite a few people went down with stomach bugs, although the staff were always cleaning. Might go back to that part of the coast but a different hotel. Suits people who want to drink heavily.

Been here twice once last year and once this year.
Can't fault the place only thing is the yanks are very loud.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I always find November/early December is a good (cheaper) time to book.
if the free child places are no longer available this would explain the increase, hence why I posted the deal. our holiday has also gone up as the free child places have all been "sold".

do check alternative airports/hotels as maybe still have some left, just not for your chosen options

When we booked our holiday for this year, found that it was cheaper to pay for all then use the free child offer as they take the discounts on all the other people off.

Foreign Office -
The threat from terrorism remains high. Terrorist groups, including Kurdish groups, Daesh (formerly referred to as ISIL) and far left organisations, continue to plan and carry out attacks. Further attacks are likely. Terrorist groups, including Daesh and the Kurdistan Freedom Falcons (TAK), have publicly threatened to attack tourist sites in Turkey. You should take extra care in public places – particularly those visited by foreigners. Be vigilant, follow the advice of local security authorities, monitor media reports and keep up to date with this travel advice.

On 12 January 2016 there was a suicide bomb attack against tourists in Sultanahmet in Istanbul in which 10 people died. On 19 March 2016 a similar attack against tourists on Istiklal St in Istanbul killed 4 people.

On 17 February 2016 a large bomb attack near a military barracks on Eskisehir Road in Ankara killed 28 people. On 13 March 2016, a similar attack killed over 30 people at Kizilay Square in central Ankara.

The list goes on...

Yep crack on sure its safe :(

But it's cheap. So people will go. Amazing the amount of people who don't know what countries Egypt, Dubai, Turkey and Tunisia share a border with.

looking at going in late sept or early october, are the beaches comparable to mexico?
No - Mexico is a large country with a population of 123 million whilst beaches have a larger population of sand grains and no drug gang problems.
The Costa Caleta hotel is a nice hotel food ok nice clean rooms etc.Don't let bad reviews put you off its a good hotel. We stayed there last year,Not a lot to do there i hired a car and drove up to the beautiful beach at Coralejo. Also went back first week of december to Coralejo weather was warm with hottest day 26c.

I think that Fuerte is the least developed of all the canary islands, and for the price you can't expect much more. Bliss for relaxing.

Actually sitting on Caleta de fuste beach right now at the end of a 2 week holiday here and I'd say avoid it unless you like being bored senseless. Might be better for 7 nights but all there is to do is visit beaches (caleta not being very good)
Then maybe you should have been clever enough to research the resort before booking there? 101.
We hired a car so the resort isn't a problem, its the island itself. You're right though, should have researched it more. When the list of top things to do on TA is visit beaches you know something is up.

Myself hubby and 3 kids got back from a week in hurghada in 23rd Dec. have to say it's the safest I've felt on holiday.lovely friendly people! There are check points if your going.on excursions and police on hand if you need them! Best holiday I've been on and Hope to return October. always someone with negative attitude :)

OK I'll give you a chance. Can you put a positive spin on the govenment sentencing 500 people to death in a single ruling? Imagine your husband was one of them. I wonder what your kids will think of you if they ever grow up and gain a conscience. I apologies for my negative attitude.

so lets punish all the poor hard working people in the tourist resorts for the appalling attitude of their government.......
Perhaps a week in Syria to show our support for the locals.

That is my image I took for TUI that you are using for this post (I'm a travel photographer), actually pretty much all of them are for this hotel and I stayed there too... great hotel.

How mad is that, was looking at staying somewhere a little more expensive but after the above comments im tempted to go for this place.:)

We went there last summer. The hotel was fab but the weather spoiled it for me. I loved all the wildlife around the resort though, iguanas, coatis, monkeys, racoons and i even saw a road runner bird, I didn't know they were real!
echo everyone elses comments, was there a couple of years ago as best man for a wedding party, top quality hotel!, its even got its own nightclub out of the way from everywhere else (noise wise)
We stayed there last year, exactly same date. As a couple agreed 28/32 absolutely brilliant, resort staff can't do enough to help. Brilliant time was had, 2 weeks isn't enough, and the drinks just keep flowing :-) very few people out of control drunk though, which is a nice change from the all inclusive within Europe. You are well outside any towns so you are stuck in resort unless you get a bus or taxi, either are very cheap. Lots of turtles and fish in the bay at the resort when we were there, take a snorkel. Every tour to Mayan ruins or tourist attractions were exceptionally well organised and ran perfectly to time. Loved it, book it.

I really want to book here for next year it looks amazing :)
Hi stacey,
Can you please help. ? Me and my husband have promised our children our first family holiday. Could you help us find something all inclusive for 2 adults 3 children. Many thanks.
i don't get these tour operators. This is a young family catered resort yet the flight times are ridiculous. Im sure it puts most families off going. Great price tho.
Stayed here in 2012. Place is stunning, but pools are totally freezing and empty. Surroundings are run down and no beach at all.
Wanting to go away the week of 16th June, does anyone think its best to leave booking one till last minute? Or is it a bit risky as we will have the week booked off but might not get a last minute deal.

Heat by the way, would of gone for this if I were looking now, hope it comes up mid June :)

first choice logoTravel the World for Less With the First Choice Discounts at HotUKDeals

First Choice started life in 1973 when it was known as Owners Abroad. During the 1970s, it rapidly became a favourite travel agent for British holidaymakers heading to Spain, Greece and further afield, so much so that the firm was floated on the Stock Exchange in 1982.

By the 1990s, First Choice had expanded into offering flights as well as accommodation and other travel services. Under the Thomson brand, the company was one of the first of its kind to bring every aspect of family holidays under one umbrella, making travel much more affordable for everyday Britons in the process.

In 2007, the company merged with German giant TUI, and First Choice became the group’s specialist all-inclusive travel arm. Still benefiting from aviation partnerships, the company offers all-inclusive packages across the world. If you want to head abroad at the lowest possible price, their products are the way to go.

Where Can You Book Holidays with First Choice?

The best place to search for and book First Choice holidays is on their website, Firstchoice.co.uk, although search aggregators and deal listings sites (like HotUKDeals) are also great places to start the booking process.

You could also pop into one of First Choice's branches, which are located in all of the UK's major cities. Check out your nearest store by using their handy branch finder tool.

Products Available at Firstchoice.co.uk

When you log onto the First Choice website, you’ll find a wide range of travel products and tools to use. Here are some of the most useful areas of the site for everyday customers:

  • Holidays – the core of the First Choice site. Features specific sections for countries like Turkey, Greece, Spain, Cuba, Mexico, St Lucia, Sri Lanka, Costa Rica and destinations in the Canary Islands. You can also check out last minute and seasonal deals, as well as suggestions for beach holidays, luxury and family getaways.
  • Deals – the first place to look for cut price holidays if you don’t have a clear idea of where you’d like to go, but need to get the best possible deal. Features deals across the spectrum of travel products, including short haul, long haul, family friendly and winter escapes.
  • Destinations – Provides even more information about specific destinations, breaking them down into places for families, luxury holidaymakers, budget travellers and people who are planning holidays a few months in advance. Also includes top ranked hotels and resorts to make your decision process easier.
  • Extras – First Choice also provides assistance with holiday essentials like money exchange, travel insurance, airport parking, airport hotels, car hire, day trips and excursions, and little details that can make all the difference, such as kids buggies.

You can search for your holiday package via an easy to use engine at the top of the screen. Just enter your preferred dates, departure airport and destination, and First Choice will provide suggested itineraries and prices.

The travel possibilities with First Choice are extensive and exciting. For example, you could fly to destinations like:

  • Cancun in Mexico
  • Playa de las Americas in Tenerife
  • The Cape Verde islands
  • Resorts in Cyprus like Paphos
  • Amalfi coast destinations like Sorrento
  • Sri Lankan retreats

Booking Holidays with First Choice

First Choice makes the booking process as quick and hassle free as possible. To start with, enter the details of your potential holiday into their search engine and press “search”.

First Choice will then provide a list of suggestions. You may need to tweak your search choice a little to add extra airports or different dates, as some packages sell out, but you should find all-inclusive offers for your favourite destination.

When you find a package that whets your appetite, click on “more details”, then “continue” or add it to your shortlist and carry on looking.

Now you’ll come to an options screen where you can customise your booking with flight details, accommodation options and extras like car hire. Choose the features you need from your holiday and press “continue booking.”

Next, you get to fine tune your accommodation choices, add airport transfers and travel insurance. After that, every aspect of your trip should have been covered and it’s time to pay.

Add your personal details (and any discount codes that you noted down at HotUKDeals), and your tickets will be sent through immediately.
