I don't think Faythur has misunderstood. The reviews clearly state that these are not stainless steel. I'll reserve judgment until I see it, and I'll probably keep it anyway, but this does look like a misdescription.

The reviewer who said that it was not stainless steel was referrring to the handle and typed this :-
I'm delighted with the product; the handle is aluminium with a nice contoured rubber end to the handle. Very nice and comfortable to use. The tines are well designed and made. BUT it is NOT STAINLESS... i've no doubt the person who wrote the description didn't realise and didn't intend to mislead in anyway.
Apologies.
I think anyone expecting a stainless steel shaft is a bit rediculous. and anyway, the aliminium will make it lighter and nicer to use.
Ordered up! :)

I don't doubt that it's unintentional, and I'm sure Amazon will refund to anyone who complains about the description.
Stainless steel head, then - which part does that refer to? :|
£20+ mostly everywhere else, or even £30+ on Ebay! oO
The label on it says "Life Time Guarantee" and "Carbon Steel".
The shaft is lightweight with 50% of it rubber coated and is I believe made of polished alloy or aluminium rather than stainless.

Are you sure you're talking about the right one?
Even Fiskars own website clearly says that this model IS stainless steel head.

If it's not then Amazon will be getting it back! I already have a steel spring tined one and amonly interested here IF it has stainless steel....

We'll find out tomorrow, won't we? I'm pretty clear that the business end of this is NOT stainless steel, despite the description.
Description
For removal of thatch, moss, leaves and grass clippings from your lawn. Narrow spring tines for thorough removal of debris.
Features
Stainless Steel heads enter soil more easily and help prevent rust
Extra thick rubber-coated shaft and Softgrip™ handle for added grip
Hanging hole for convenient storage
"Stainless Steel heads enter soil more easily and help prevent rust"??!! On a lawn rake? Looks like Amazon have simply used an inaccurate description given them by Fiskars.
Nice piece of equipment, though, with a lifetime guarantee (whatever that's deemed to mean) - I'll keep it. Thanks OP.
