Good price but maybe worth updating your post to say they only seem to list Black versions.

I've had mine on order from here now for two weeks and had an email yesterday to say I'm looking at another 10 days before there's an update. It's a good job I don't need it for Christmas.

Has anybody ever compared these to the cheap Bluetooth trackers you can get for about £10-20? The Fitbit doesn't seem to list anything that the other trackers can't do

I would like to know the same

Good price. Hot
I would get this and just buy the additional colour straps. After all it is only the strap that's different. :D

I bought this from John Lewis on 27/11 for £109.95. Put in a price match claim yesterday and they have refunded the £13.95 to match this price. Thanks OP.

Ive owned a Fitbit, a Jawbone 3 and now a Withins Pulse ox2. It's basically like buying a computer, the first question to ask is, what do I need it for. Consistent HR motoring , sleep, activity, notifications etc. Check the specs as some cheaper bands are as good but make sure they have the sensors you require. The next thing to do is check which App comes with the band, what's the quality of the app like? Is it able to sync with Google Fit or Apple health? Can you synchronise with other third party apps like run keeper and my fitness ? For me I test a lot of tech devices out but my main goal was to track my sleep with advanced technology. Jawbone 3 is the only one out of the lot that accurately tracks R.E.M. Light, Deep and how many times you woke up. Problem with the Jawbone unfortunately the strap break easily so I had to replace. Withings Pulse for me was the all rounder considering I own the smart weight scales and the blood pressure monitor by Withings so I can keep track of everything in one app environment. I would say Withings app and Fitbit compete pretty well although the Withings Smart body scales are far superior.

I've used a Fitbit One (clip on unit rather than wrist worn) and found it marginally better for counting steps than the replacement Mi band I bought recently for £20. The wrist sensor doesn't seem so good (at least) on the cheap units when your arm doesn't sway as you walk - eg, pushing a shopping trolley / lawnmower / carrying something

I'd like to upgrade to something like the Fitbit Charge 2 as this would have the advantage of telling you who's calling you, or give you a bit of a new incoming text message. The Mi band only flashes up the word "App" to alert you. - Difficult to justify another £75 for this - but I guess I really want a simple smart watch with fitness capability, rather than something an Olympic athlete would need.

Hope this helps?

website refuses to work for me :( keeps saying cannot process order but no errors or issues with the info I've given them.

Are they doing this price in store too?
#14
Just bought this at John Lewis in store, they price matched at the till to £96. So if your looking to get it now John Lewis is a good shout (plus the customer service is brilliant compared with Vodafone) should you run into any problems within 2 years after purchase.

They also have all the colours (although not sure if they'd price match that)

Go to https://www.johnlewis.com/never-knowingly-undersold and fill out the form. You'll need the price/model and url of the vodafone deal. Plus the John Lewis item number, which is 85913039.

Form will look a little bit like this:

Splashmo thank you!!
They've just emailed to say the small is out of stock! Going to have another look but might just go with Vodafone in the end! Thanks again :)

Just FYI, I got this today at the Trafford centre in Manchester and they are in the 3 or 2, we got two for £196 and traded the third one in at CEX for £78, worked out at £59 each, bargain.

Is there any way to cancel the order on vodafone ?
#21
I've email John Lewis and confirmed they will price match, ordered through them instead, prefer JL and I can go collect it tomorrow
#22
After all the comments above, I'm unsure why John Lewis won't price match for me....

I've just had an online chat with Vodaphone - BEWARE - the Fitbit Charge 2 counts as an ACCESSORY - and their warranty for accessories is only 6 months. I queried it saying standard warranty should be at least 12 months but they insisted it was only 6.
So it's off to John Lewis then - who I spoke to earlier - and who will not price match so I can place an order - as the price match department is closed till Tuesday and the requisite form has to be filled out and sent.

Interesting to see what response you get with this. I tried John Lewis but they would not entertain a price match.

Not sure why JL turned down the request. I put in a price request on the 28th, and JL accepted.

...ended up getting a Vivoactive HR instead, tho, as figured GPS and waterproofness was worth the extra.

Because Vodafone don't have it in stock and apparently that's in their terms. I tried a couple of times but both declined.
#27
Oh. Yeah, the item has to be in stock for them to price match. I'd have thought that would be obvious.

But Vodafone status has been 1-2 weeks despatch for a while now. Certainly on the 28th it was. I check it daily.

The only thing I can think of is there was an influx of people seeing this thread putting in price matches with JL, and they clamped down.

I ordered from JL and applied for a price match which they declined as Vodaphone give a delivery time of 1 - 2 weeks. I'm wondering if JL insisting that the other store has it in stock this could be seen as an unfair contract term as if the item is the exact same apart from price what difference is it?
#31
I just got this price matched in store at John Lewis Oxford Street. I just showed the cashier the Vodafone website and it was OK.
#32
A quick update: I called JL, they price matched Vodafone for me. This was done on the phone, my order will be due for collection on Thursday.
#33
I find eventually you can grind JL down and get them to price match. I think I sent 6 emails to them before they cracked and price matched my Vivoactive HR, got over the Charge as waterproof/GPS/screen seemed worth the extra, with Decathalon. Think they just wanted me to stop :)
#34
just got this price matches in store at John Lewis. thanks!!
#35
Does anybody know if JL will price match on a colour, other than black?
#36
They match like for like.

So unless Voda are selling the same colour, then no.
#37
JL just turned my request down as the item is not in stock at Vodafone. Doesn't seem fair practice as you guys had the request accepted
#38
You could always just order from Voda?
#39
John Lewis knocked my price match request back too. I'll try in store and see if they'll match.
#40
Glasgow in store John Lewis price matched no bother

Wish I chanced it for the gun metal series because they really didn't care lol
