If you can eat all of this within 15 minutes you get a photo taken and end up in the flaming grill hall of fame. I thought it was a darn sight cheaper than the other £49 pound challenge on here, and not quite as bad for you! you dont have to do it as a challenge, you can take your time.

Looks fun but not any branches in Scotland that I can see :(
brilly#2
tbh this is a suspiciously cheap for a high quality burger so id expect it to be basic?
Judosteffer#3
No, I've had it, is surprisingly nice! I went to a flaming grill last week, and was impressed with the quality. I went to the one in Burbage.

I doubt you would need to wait that long.

In any case, can you measure the size of a skitter?

So for 8.99 you get your weekly quota of meat and a picture in a hall of fame.

What more could you ask for?:(

I haven't tried it yet. A flaming grill moved to my town last month :D it's awesome.

Ps. you don't get it for free if you win..

Also 72Oz is 2kg~.. this is half that with a quater of the time + 2 portions of chips, and 8 onion rings.

rulooking20032003#11

it is value for your money if you are a good eater
my husband has tried a few times to eat it all but has never finshed it yet

Hmmm - not good for a vegetarian scubamonkey! Where is the "eat a giant veggie burger for £9 and get a photo in the hall of fame of people who don't eat meat" offers (_;)

S = FC - FW

Where S = size of poo
F = Food Volume
C = compression factor
W = Water content of food

cicobuff#16
I shared one of these with my wife the once, makes two meals for under a tenner.
DJBucko2009#17
So you don't get the burger free if you complete the challenge?
godsakes 3 Likes #18
Urrhh... I threw up attempting this, beaten by a bit of veg & bap

Decent to share between 2 people
Mellor#19

Was watching Man vs Food the other day and was wishing there were more food challenges in the UK lol.... this will do me, and one only 5-10 mins away!! Winner.
Judosteffer#22
A load of us are going on Friday lunchtime to eat this. No tea the night before, or breakfast on the day.
MBeeching#24

The European Fecal Standards & Measurements Boards official measurement is a Couric. One Couric is about two and a half pounds of excrement.
mdekq007#32
should come with a side order of simvastatin
rdtorres#33
Do you have to eat it in 15mins then? Cos it doesn't say anything about that on the link as far as I can see.
ivegotalobon 1 Like #34
Wow, that looks nice & at a good price. There's one 15-20 minutes away, might have to get the lads out on saturday and see which fat **** finishes it.
foxymummy#35
Mmmmmmm!
Judosteffer#36
You don't have to eat it in 15 mins. But if you are up for attempting it, they bring out an egg timer, and if you manage it, you get entered into the flaming grill hall of fame!
Henlans#37
i had one as it was cheaper and you get more. wish i didnt. the meat was like eating salt!
Mulva42#38
Not in Scotland then :(

Forget the challenge - take your own sweet time and share it with the missis (well give her the chicken and chips anyway) it's a good meal for 2 for only £9!

This is the normal burger - the challenge has two of these and two chicken fillets as well - lovely!

done it twice and failed :) my local one near Stockport now do it timeless, since it is quite impossible to do it in 15 mins, however You can request for the timer :) never the less, was fun and you get a free wristband and a bib saying 'I love my flaming grill' ;) if you complete, you get a certificate, wristband, badge and photo to go on the wall of fame ;)

This burger was a beast. I did fail but whoever can eat that in 15 mins and under is a legend.

i have attempted this for £9.99 and there wasn't a time limit...

Really hard and the burger was so good...

Having a beer and some ice cream inbetween might of ruined my chances of completing it.

For those thinking of starving themselves before this challenge, don't do it. Your stomach will contract too much.

You'll need regular and light snacks the day before, and a light breakfast on the day,
Mulva42#47
It wont be Aberdeen Angus then!!

And if you're a scallywag extremist you can use the pro's trick of having some pain killers 1/2 an hour before.
parsimony#49
Sounds disgusting.
Give me quality over quantity any day.
faipdeooiad#50
i did this last week, took a smidge over 20 minutes though.

powered through a heavy workout before hand, so the appetite was there for it.
tek-monkey#51
Sounds like a good plan, will head over with some mates next week :D

So you're basically paying £8.99 to be uncomfortable by forcing yourself to eat an excess amount of food in a short amount of time just to advertise the fact, via a picture of yourself on the wall, that you're that daft and have the stomach to fit it all in? We're turning into America...next thing you know we'll be wandering around asda in our PJ's with our bums hanging out, I think I read we're already doing that though. :s

Good deal though so voted hot. :)
cicobuff#53
This is what you get :

The Flaming Challenge Burger is packed with:
Two chargrilled 12oz beef burgers
Two breaded chicken fillets
Spicy chilli beef
Melted Cheddar cheese
Onions
Crispy bacon
Onion rings
And served with a giant helping of chips!

http://punchmarketing-cms.realpubco.com/Global/fg/images/fooddrinks/challengeburger.png

As a meal for two it's great...its hardly nuevo cuisine, it is just your standard pub food fare...and shared is better value buying than two meals from the Flaming Grill Menu.
zwortexx#54
Can i take away and eat it?
Mulva42#55
Now this is a challange, this girl is about 14 too and eat Scotland hottest curry the Kismot killer

aaronb1985#57
Did this in Chester a few weeks ago. Good quality for the price, although saltiness makes it hard. Bread was dry but everything else decenct. No prize at the one in Chester just photo and certificate
SpamJavelin#58
How do they do it so cheap? There's one just opened 'round the corner from me - might take the whole family and feed 'em for under a tenner!
