Flamingo land should be consider a zoo rather than a theme park as the zoo is excellent. The rides are dissapointing compared to places such as alton towers... But the combination makes this £50 a very cheap but fun day out.

Its a shame they don't do zoo only as I want to take the kids to the zoo but you are for ced to pay for the rides

Over some days in winter they open the zoo at reduced amounts without the rides

While Flamingo Land is the best Zoo/Theme park combo in the UK, and the zoo is the best zoo at any UK theme park, Chester Zoo and to a lesser extent London Zoo are amazing in compassion to Flaming Land Zoo. I'd even rate Blackpool Zoo over Flamingo Land zoo.

The rides are also great at Flamingo Land and wile it doesn't have big name rides like Alton Towers or Thorpe Park, it doesn't generally have queues of 2 hours for the rides, extortionate parking charges or over expensive Fast Pass prices.

Sorry I am not very clear...Will I get a voucher on 15 April? or have to buy a ticket?

yes you buy the ticket on 15th on the radio site, then print it out straight away and take it to the park, think its gate 6 you go to and they check the list against your ticket

I love Flamingoland think its a great day out plenty for the kids to do and good white knuckle rides for the grown ups, they are adding another coster this year, Mumbo jumbo is a great little coaster really fun :)

I went last week on school hols, biggest wait wa 30 mins which isnt bad comparted to alton, most rides were 10mins or mostly walk on

Awful place, has gone right down hill in the past couple of years. Badly managed, staff have a real attitude problem, broken rides or rides not opening till lunchtime, expensive poor quality food, filthy dirty toilets. The zoo was a bit of a joke as well last year, loads of empty exhibits

If anyone needs to book a private caravan at Flamingo Land check out http://www.flamingolandcaravanrentals.com - you wont be able to use these passes though, on the home page of this link there is a link direct to the passes required to stay onsite

I was there on Sunday as we hold a season ticket and I love the place as does my Wife and 4 year old Daughter. There's adult rides and lots for the Kids too. The zoo is exceptional and better than most, certainly enough to fill a whole day. I was at Chessington last week and would rate Flamingo Land a little higher as the rides are roughly the same, but the zoo adds a lot more to the package.

There has also been some work carried out over the Winter so it's all a little newer than it was last season. As mentioned, there are 2 new coasters due to arrive this Summer also which should be the icing on the cake.
