Hi
Thanks for posting. And welcome to HUKD.
It is good practice to also add the merchant and price to the title. It helps people who are just browsing through. And in my experience your post will get a few more “hot” votes.
Emmajk42 wrote a couple of very comprehensive and excellent guide for newcomers to HUKD here: - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/145906/newcomers-advice-on-hotukdeals-gene/

They are well worth taking a look at.
Again, thanks for posting, and welcome to HUKD.
Kind regards Andy

great album, terrible price

?

£3.99 for a year old cd still popular is expensive? I heartily disagree

No I mean terrible price comapred to downloading it from a torrent site or something similar.
#7
I don't think you can compare the two. I enjoy music so I don't illegally download albums in poor quality.

I bought this album at full price when it was released. I'd like them to contiune releasing new albums, but how would any band do that if we all thought of stealing a legitimate method of acquring their music?
#8
the album is fab, but this version is worth the extra £3

it has Mykonos on it for a start which IMO is their best song

good post at this price though

Where these guys at the V festival ?

if anyone is a true fan and supporter of a band, especially as good as Fleet Foxes then any price, let alone £3 frickin' 99 is a good deal. This is a top album from an awesome band! Great deal...would purchase if did not already have it. heat added

No true music fan would illegally download an album.

A band like Fleet Foxes need album sales, so many good bands fall by the wayside and lose contracts because of low album sales.

Terrific price too, I question the sanity of someone who would make the effort to download an inferior copy rather than spend FOUR QUID and get this great album in a attractive little package delivered to their door!

The copy wouldn't be inferior quality, but it's far form moral to pirate an album of amazing music...

But isn't that like saying no true football fan would support Manchester United? :whistling:

Without wanting to fuel the fire of a gratuitous debate on the morality of downloading "illegally",
I downloaded this album because I was browsing a private torrent site, played it to my girlfriend and she liked it so much she went out and bought it the next day.

Guess that's a sale they wouldn't have had if I hadn't downloaded it "illegally."

Oh, and I downloaded it in FLAC.

According to my personal ethics, that's fine. Most albums I buy I have first listened to on Spotify or sampled tracks on Myspace.

I just wouldn't keep music (or any other media) if I had no intention of buying after I'd tried. I'd guess almost everyone does the same.

That wasn't even a valid argument 20 years ago.
It is 2009 in case you hadn't noticed.
