A 12-year-old boy is mysteriously abducted by an alien ship and returns to Earth eight years later, still only 12. yep - got one - but tbh - it is in a shoddy state.. the movie is v v grainy on my TV :( - dolby stereo only. but hey - 70p - worth every penny (except for those annoying singalong beachboy bits.. - hehehe) good to be reminded of the 80's... ahhh... good times!! :P

Yeah shame about the DVD conversion. Really shows the grain, dirt, etc...especially on a computer monitor or HD telly. Still...I hear the retail version of this DVD is the same! Doesn't compromise how great the movie is though, can't wait until the Short Circuit freebie on Friday as part of the same offer.

Yes, it looks like they made the DVD by filming a VHS video playing on a CRT television using an 8mm Cine Camera - ah, the good old days:whistling:
Still a good film though!

Just watching it now. Regarding the DVD release you would have thought they'd have tidied it up before releasing it.

Love this film though, takes me back to my teens.
