Beware this airline has an appalling reputation, check out the reviews. Oh and for those who like a glass of wine etc. they do not serve alcohol.

average in my opinion, i got a flight for same kind of price in 2007 for the week before xmas

join rooms.net they gove you £10 for joining and when you dont use they keep sending you £5 - I have had a few hotels really cheaply doing this - got one in Orlando for an odd night for free and staying at the Giles Hotel Heathrow bed and full english breakfast for £24 for 2 people so its worth registering with them

My daughter booked with Hotels.com and stayed in a lovely place just off times Square it was an older building but really nice inside and she had a kitchenette, she paid £300 for 2 people for 3 nights, if you are interested I will get t the details of the name etc

I was looking for flights just the other day, for my 30th birthday, excellent timing octobergirl, beat the best price i found by 40 notes

Everyone should go to NYC at least once in their life time. I went there recently and it's just out of this world, the sheer size Manhattan and the buzzing life style all over the city is amazing. Don’t miss China Town, the Italian Quarter and Canal Street, you will never experience anything like it in other cities around the world. I don’t know this airline as I flew with BA and it was fantastic but don’t miss the opportunity and go to New York!!!

Depending who the airline is that quoted you £40 more, i would happily pay the extra rather than fly with Kuwait. As I said above, check out the airline feedback.

Have to agree with you. I went last year for a "special" birthday and it was fantastic. It just buzzes 24/7

I 2nd that - I flew with Kuwait airlines back in 2000 from Kuwait toHong Kong (14 hours flight) and the staff did their best to keep us entertained during the very long flight. They don't serve Alcohol but I don't drink so didn't really bother me ;-)

pathetic ryanair dont fly to new york and aer lingus prices are over double on the days im looking at and involve a change
#24
agreed that kuwait are no different in standards from ba/virgin.

It may have been the Radio City Apartments, they match your description, I stayed there a couple of years ago and can recomend them.

I'm off to New York in three weeks - managed to pick up premium economy seats on virgin a few weeks back for £480 each - I am sure the airlines will have further sales nearer the time too - it just seems Kuwait do it early so you cant go with the likes of BA or Virgin - Virgin had seats in economy for only £240 when I booked out seats.

Be patient.

As for hotels, try a few on Manhattan, we managed to get an IGH group hotel for 6 nights for a little (like $2) over $100 bucks night all in inc taxes.#

what are you talking about? you fly to ireland for £5 with ryan air then get return ticket with aer lingus, try actually searching for yourself before critcising others trying to help. or ask for advice like a normal person:roll:

what do u expect for cheap prices exactly....hassle free? a little hassle can save you heaps in my experience

ive also found flights with virgin from £137 (sept 11) there and aer lingus back from £98 (march 22) from london
#29
I think there's some decent prices there. Aslong as the pilot can fly and the staff aren't rude I don't care.
