Turkish Airlines offers cheap return flights from Dublin to Shanghai from £386.There is no specific travel period for this fare. But sale ends on March 31st, 2013.
The fare rule allows a stopover for only €30 in Istanbul. So if you like, you can spend some days in Istanbul, before you continue your travel to Shanghai.

Alcohol is available on Turkish Airlines but their wines are not the best in my opinion as to the rest drink as sensible as you can they wont say anything!
I'm from the UK (Northern Ireland) and I would have to drive about 1 hour 20 mins to get to Dublin airport...
So thanks to the OP for the great deal & take no notice of people who take a huff just because a deal doesn't suit them personally.
i remember booking a flight to beijing and home from shanghai for £450, but that was a couple of years ago now

Plus I live near Newcasstle and I can get a flight from Newcastle to Dublin for only like £25.
