VERY hot! Thanks for the post, although as kids not off school ,can't take advantage of it ...even more gutted as I have an empty villa out there during May!!! (Available to rent in case anyone is interested...)

It is £2400 for the same flights in 1st week July and last week of August...
#4
Sorry I should also say that they charge for check in luggage at £30 per item so you have to factor these costs in as well.
#5

oh, that's terrific if it works with Birmingham, but how's the availability on those flights now? Or even LGW for that matter?

I presume the flights from Brum wont be direct

US Airways from Brum aren't direct, but the same flights were £1200 cheaper than from Manchester, so we booked them. I did post it a couple of weeks ago, but there were a few know-it-alls who chipped in :x

What put us off Thomson was the extras such as sitting together and luggage fees that really increased the cost
#16
wow ...if only i had 2 pence to rub together lol
#17
May well seem cheap guys....but the flights are like cattle trucks...would rather pay the extra and fly with Virgin....at least your not virtuallly sat on some strangers knee for 9hrs+.
#18
I would pay that price.I will save the extra money to spend when I am there.I can sit next to anyone for 9 hour for that price.

Dont thomsons have more leg room than virgin flights.
We flew virgin at xmas and the outbound fight was the best i have ever been on long haul, staff were amazing. But the inbound one was the worst because of the staff , so you really cant tell by airlines anymore i think..
#20
Hi does this include villa car hire and food, and parks included:thinking::thinking::whistling:

I wish airline websites would stop this ticking boxes and you have to untick the box if you don't want the item like World Care Fund , Carbon Emission or their insurance etc etc etc or whatever other nonsense they have dished up.

If I want it I will tick the box myself.

They did this same thing a while back when if you bought something like a computer on HP from some of the main High St electrical stores the insurance for if you couldn't pay due to illness, redundancy etc was ticked and added to the payments and you had to untick it if you just wanted to pay for the item only or sometimes you had to tick if you didn't want it.

They must sit around thinking up ways to get more dosh off you.

I'm perfectly capable of making my own decisions.

If anyone has any cheap villas for May I could be interested. Could you pm me please?
#23
Flew with monach last june for a similar price, crowded and miserable flight. Went again in march with nwa for 160, fantastic airline, loads of room and empty planes. Anyone who has gone for this http://www.seatguru.com/ is an excellent site when reserving seats etc.
#24
HOT from me , nice 1 :)
#25
im trying to book flights for 7 of us, but its coming out at 1077.

any reason? Ive deselected all the options as well :|
#26
still available from Gatwick for £133.50 tonight, you have to play around with the site, I got it from timetable, see available fares, then clicked on calendar for dates.

In reply for your 7, have you tried with 6 or 5? as there are only a limited amount of seats at this price and by putting in a smaller amount of people you should find out how many are left, then you can decide if its worth booking those at the very cheap price and then going back and booking the remainder at the dearer price. If not try calling them in the morning.

Wish flights were this cheap in August :-(

I've only been looking on possibly every available flight/travel website and I can't get cheaper than around £510 per person and that's not direct. Any ideas for flights 8 - 30 Aug 09 ish?

You'll be lucky to get a decent deal over the summer. We got 4 flights with US Airways from Birmingham for £1900, £1200 cheaper than Manchester for the same dates & times

No, but you get 24 Virgins in 'heaven' for the rest of eternity if the plane falls victim to a terror attack..... Can't be bettered IMHO!
#30
Amazing just booked a return flight from Manchester to Orlando for this Saturday for £143.

Booked car hire for $10 to drive up to Atlanta.

Seriously cheap way of getting to the USA - thank you!

HOT!
