Cheap price but I hate landing in Doha. The airport is so weird. I personally despise the culture and inequality from this region of the world

Oh my holly god, it's just a few hours of flight connect kid!!!!!!nobody's asking to spend the rest of your life in Doha.

Unfortunately can't agree with anyone who has anything good to say about this airline. I had a dreadful flight with these from Qatar to Heathrow. Very old plane, awful seats and legroom, terrible food, but worst of all, worst flight attendants I've ever come across. Very rude, ignorant people who prioritised those who speak their own language over anyone who speaks English natively.
I'd only fly if I was desperate or really strapped for cash and don't mind risking a bad flight. Otherwise I'd definitely pay more for a better airline to avoid ruining a holiday experience!

Wow you must have really drawn the short straw. One of the best economy flights I've ever had. Flown them about 4 times to Asia and they were streets ahead of the rest in all aspects. I fly Asia regularly and have experienced most of them and fly these by choice out of Heathrow despite Gatwick being far closer.

9 day flights....first and last day flying leaving only 7 full days at destination.
Plenty of cheap deals to Asia at the moment....pay a bit more and stay as long as you like...

Qatar Airways May 3rd 2017- May 18th 2017 £373

I also didnt think much of this Airline although my flight was just a short one around 4 hours they served half the plane with drinks before stopping the rest of us got nothing
and compared to Emirates , Etihad , Thai airways , KLM , and so on for service they are lacking based on my flight.

although i have to agree that £289 is a good price.

i'd have to agree with you on that. used them many times never had any problems. and I think you'll find more reliable than Emirates too.

You got bad luck mate, check out reviews and airlines ranking online, I'm afraid there aren't too many "better" airlines out there... obviously QATAR's not great in every way but you'd have higher possibility to experience **** flight with other companies...

Same experience. Threatened to sue them for it and they paid out though.

I found them to be OK but not outstanding. The way they dish out wine (in economy) in little plastic cups (nice wine tho!) is a bit stingey and am I alone in thinking the back of their 787s are the noisiest seats on just about any modern plane?

Definitely not on par with Emirates from the 5 flights I've had. A decent airline (previously airline of the year but definitely not anymore) but service can be sketchy but prices are very good to reflect this. Heat from me.

Yes I've had poor service, think that they are living on a previous reputation. I found the 777-300 ER aircraft OK but the A330 and 787-8 aircraft are abysmal for a long haul aircraft that have very narrow seats and not a great deal of leg room. However they are pretty cheap now with modern aircraft.

Singapore Airlines..... The best in my opinion! Faultless service everytime I've flown with them but you pay for it.

Flew Qatar to Bali a year ago. Their 777 was great, 9 across instead of the usual 10 in economy. The 787 may well be the dreamliner but at 9 across and smaller cabin width than the 777, it's something I always try to avoid. The flight back from Doha to Heathrow was appalling. Service Qrap, really, really poor and seats painfully hard and generally not what I'm used to with say Singapore or Thai. For this price however it's a good deal. Heat.

Yes always do and it pays off sometimes but cheapest I've ever got to bali with SQ is £618 Qatar areas coming in half that price oO

SQ airlines are perfect in my long experience of long distance flights. However, I got an £1100 return business class fare from Italy to New Zealand in January on Qatar, so they are my new favourite airline. Stansted to Italy on Ryanair will be the painful part.

What route was that? Always had those mini bottles and no problem about asking for two at the dinner serve and replenish as much as you like.

Unfortunately your single experience doesn't represent the airline as a whole, the vast majority of people would disagree
