Been monitoring flights to Orlando for some while now. Today have booked with Thomas Cook from Gatwick to Orlando International on 15h April - 29th (did not look at other dates as this was the date I was after)
6kg hand luggage 7 1x23kg (can't split weight to more than 1 bag)
Cheapest before today was with 3rd party agents. Lowest price was £460-£480. Not all 3rd party sites are bad but make sure details input correctly as mistakes very expensive to correct.

What a horrible website. It's like it's designed for toddlers to use! :D

The price for the flights is reasonable, but it's not the flights that is costly in Orlando. The cost of the parks, Disney etc, is literally obscene. I don't know how they get away with charging that kind of money. Actually, I do know, they charge that much because people clearly are willing to pay that much.

Obviously, if you're not interested in the parks, this doesn't apply.

I already have my own property & annual passes so for me this is perfect. I have paid £1110 for 3 of us. With BA same day flights & airport £510 per person & Virgin even more. Norwegian cheaper but you have to pay for EVERYTHING in addition meals, baggage which to include make it more. Earlier this year Disney were doing a special offer on tickets - my daughter bought SeaWorld?Busch Gardens & Disney including memory maker for probably as cheap as it has been in 15 years

Judging by the crowds every time I visit, there's plenty of people would disagree with you. Granted it's not cheap, but it's a premium product...

I voted Cold - You can get a package deal from Travelcitydirect from £400pp for 2 adults, also seen packages for 2 adults, 2 kids for £360 with TravelCityDirect, Virgin also have some really good deals at the moment

It's a lot cheaper to book package holidays to Orlando at the moment compared to the cost of flights + accommodation while you are there

Add £100 (50 each flight) for Premium Economy seats. Free drinks, more room. Bargain.

What on 15th April? Cheapest deal I can find as a package is £623 which is a great price and have been to Florida with them a couple of times but there are thousands of British holiday makers that either prefer to stay or own villa's and don't want to be stuck in one room. Plus I don't think my 24 year old daughter would want to share a room for 14 nights so that would be 2 rooms needed

I'm not seeing it but each to their own. The cheapo seats on these flights are actually the nicest I've ever had on an economy flight. Drinks are not extortionate to buy and I think we paid an extra £5 for the kids to get more TV.

You are quite right, the new economy seats that got put in a couple of years ago are very good for knee room. But, particularly if you are a 6'er the Premium seats have lots of width and more legroom than you'll ever need. Apart from that, you get the free drinks, priority checkin and boarding and premium video. Personally, I'd just book the PE seats for the way home when you are needing the sleep. As you say, each to his own.
Just be aware, the Air Tanker (in TC colours and crewed by TC) does not have the same fitment (no premium) on this flight. The website clearly indicates when operated by Air Tanker and the flights are sometimes a bit cheaper. A lot cheaper on a JFK flight that I booked last week.

Yes, commenting on one of the main things to do in Orlando, on a deal for flights to Orlando, is indeed a tad relevant.

I've been looking at flights to orlando in April for the past 2 months and the prices are ridiculous! Having looked over hukd for deals over the past 5 yrs they always seem to come down in price in January, they have hardly budged this year! Cross fingers they come down in the next few weeks or I won't be going :(
