Just come across this deal from Thomson flights. £143.96 per person to fly to Florida and back on the 3rd May for 2 weeks.

Not sure which other dates are available but I do know that if you only put in to do 1 week, e.g. 3rd - 10th May then it will cost £243.96 so £100 more per person.

This is my first deal so I hope I have done this correctly

Yes, good deal however is it really worth the risk to get swine flu??? Not going to vote either way.

Always wanted to go to Florida but these prices just wont tempt me to risk my health.

Can I mention that my colleague was booked to go to Florida from May-June (WITH THOMPSON) and they have refunded his full fare as they acknowledged the flu in the state... Think I may well save my cash and health thanks.

Hardly at that stage yet are we. A few confined cases reported so far.

Talk about jumping on the media bandwagon!

yes but remember the govt will always play down any virus outbreak to maintain public order
Media in america inc central america is more prone to heavy censorhip than here, for all we know thousands could be dead in mexico and hundreds of cases rampant accross The US. I would stock up on bottled water and tin foods and head north to scotland, oh wait too late the virus is already there, the end is nigh!
